We're back and looking at the best prediction markets news today on Kalshi! In this series, we won't necessarily stick to just sports. We'll look at all the markets trending for trades on Kalshi and put a little context behind each one. Let's dive into the action for July 21.
Prediction Markets News Today for July 21
The official full-length trailer for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday dropped this week, and the internet is absolutely buzzing. The film hits theaters on December 18, 2026, and it brings back a very familiar face: Robert Downey Jr. is set to play Doctor Doom, according to many sources.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the movie's premise, per IMDb, is that "heroes from three different worlds must unite when they're thrust together to confront a catastrophic danger that could destroy everything they know."
The cast is stacked, and Kalshi has turned it into a buffet of casting markets. You can trade "Yes" or "No" on whether specific actors will play specific roles. Per People.com, the Fantastic Four contingent includes Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, while the Thunderbolts group features names like Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, and David Harbour as Red Guardian.
People.com also notes that a March 2025 Marvel livestream confirmed returns from Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Tom Hiddleston, and Simu Liu. Additionally, an X-Men grouping includes Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and Kelsey Grammer.
Here's how a few of these casting markets are trading:
- Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang: Yes 99 cents, No 2 cents
- Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool: Yes 84 cents, No 17 cents

Kalshi Technology: When Will Apple Announce a Foldable iPhone?
Now to the technology world, where another trending market caught my eye Monday: "When will Apple announce a foldable iPhone?"
A piece from Macworld.com laid out the road ahead nicely. Jason Cross and Karen Haslam wrote that "it is expected that Apple will introduce this new style iPhone in September 2026, along with the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max (but not the regular iPhone 18)," which is reportedly delayed until 2027.
They followed that up by noting that after a Nikkei Asia report said Apple is somewhat behind on the production timetable, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman claimed the foldable is still on track, though supplies may be limited at first, with Apple aiming to put it on sale at the same time or "soon after" the non-folding iPhone 18 Pro models.
Tech has come a long way — from car phones to cell phones to T9 texting — and now the iPhone keeps evolving, with rumors of multiple batteries and a folding function that's pretty wild to think about holding in your hand.
Right now on Kalshi, the "before 2027" tier is trading at Yes 91 cents and No 12 cents. Anything can happen in the tech world, but if you're holding a Yes contract on this one, you've got to be feeling pretty good.
That's a wrap on today's top prediction markets. Good luck, and happy trading!
