#1-#9 Duke vs. TCU Preview & Predictions Markets
Duke was almost subjected to the third-ever 16-seed upset of a 1-seed. Duke Coach Jon Scheyer admitted postgame that his team was outcoached and was not ready for this matchup. It will be an important lesson for a team made up of many young freshmen. In comparison, TCU played really well and held off a late Ohio State run to advance to this Round. They will need more, though, to beat a Duke squad that will not likely underestimate an opponent again. The Kalshi prices reflect this, as the Blue Devils are a double-digit favorite.

#3-#6 Michigan State vs. Louisville Preview & Predictions Markets
Michigan State did what was expected of them and dominated North Dakota State, while Louisville barely survived to beat South Florida. The Prediction Market News has the Spartans as the early favorite in this matchup. If Michigan State, led by All-American point guard Jeremy Fears Jr., plays to their potential, they should handle a Cardinals team missing their best player, Mikel Brown Jr., who is out injured.

#3-#11 Illinois vs. VCU Preview & Predictions Markets
Illinois pummeled Penn in their first-round game, as they simply had too much size and strength for them. Their guards will have to be able to handle the pressure VCU applies, though, something that led to a huge comeback win in overtime over North Carolina in the first Round. VCU had to use everything at its disposal to win, though, and you have to wonder if it will have enough legs left to go 40 minutes with the Fighting Illini.

#4-#12 Arkansas vs. High Point Preview & Predictions Markets
Arkansas looks to end High Point's Cinderella run after the Panthers pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the first Round. This matchup will likely be the highest-scoring game in the Round of 32, as Arkansas dropped 97 points against Hawaii, while High Point had 83 of their own against Wisconsin. This game will be a shootout, but Arkansas has elite guard play, and it seems likely that they will put the Panthers out of reach late in the second half.

#3-#11 Gonzaga vs. Texas Preview & Predictions Markets
Gonzaga struggled to put away a feisty Kennesaw State team in the first Round while Texas won its second game in three days to beat BYU. One has to wonder whether Texas, after winning a First Four Game and a Round of 64 game, could suffer from some tired legs. If they find a way to gut it out, though, they probably have better guard play than Gonzaga and have the size to slow down the Bulldogs star big man Graham Ike (19.7 PPG & 8.2 RPG).

#1-#9 Michigan vs. Saint Louis Preview & Predictions Markets
St. Louis, in another part of the bracket, could be a trendy pick to make a Cinderella run, but it's a tough matchup against Michigan. The Wolverines are uniquely equipped with plenty of size to slow down the Bilikens' star center Robbie Avila. Of St. Louis five losses this season, four came when Avila scored 14 or fewer points. The Wolverines can do that, making them the obvious favorite.
