‘Dancing with the Stars’ Prediction Markets: Harry Shum Jr. Leads Pack

The glitterball is primed and the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ legends are taking to the floor. It’s the prime time to take advantage of the prediction markets. Traders are fawning over Foxtrots, going giddy over the Griddy, and salivating over the Salsa.
‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 35 has officially launched, with the first casualty leaving the show. However, it’s not too late to trade event contracts on Kalshi on who will win – and who won’t.
‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 35 Prediction Market: Frontrunners
The prediction markets have spoken and trading is live on the outright winner of Season 35 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. The biggest money (nearly $900,000 so far) is on the season winner. However, you can also trade on 2nd and 3rd place, or who will be eliminated next week.
We’ve eyed the Kalshi board to spot the frontrunners and pick out the value plays for the season on ABC.
Harry Shum Jr.: ‘Yes’ @ $0.25
Week 1 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ featured a two-night special: one taken over the ladies, one by the male dancers.
Shum Jr. is known for his acting roles in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, among other TV shows. However, his obvious hip-hop experience helped him score the best result of 21 out of 30 in Week 1.
Shum Jr.’s rapport with professional dance partner, Jenna Johnson, means the ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ star is the one to beat.
Our pick: There’s something about Harry: Kalshi, $0.25
Ezra Frech: ‘Yes’ @ $0.18
Paralympian Ezra Frech proved his worth in Week 1 with an excellent score of 20 out of 30. The U.S. para-athlete showed he is adept at the tango as he is track ‘n field.
Like Shum Jr., the chemistry with the pro dancing partner helped massively, something that’s been evident in past seasons of ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
The judges were impressed, as were Kalshi traders, who bought ‘Yes’ shares at $0.09 to send Frech’s price up. You should too.
Our pick: Back the Frech prince: Kalshi, $0.18
Jenna Dewan: ‘Yes’ @ $0.17
Jenna Dewan is one of a few contestants in ‘Dancing with the Stars’ this season with established dance experience.
Dewan was the star of ‘Step Up’, one of the biggest millennial dance films, so she has a headstart on some of her ‘Dancing with the Stars’ co-contestants.
Also in the lineup going into the Week 1 female-stars show is Julia Stiles, who in ‘Save the Last Dance’ showed her moves on the floor.
Stiles offers a little more value at $0.10, but all the women are down in prices before they take to the floor tonight. This is the time to predict outcomes and find the value play.
Our pick: Dewan to deliver: Kalshi, $0.17
