The opening days of the World Cup have been absolutely sensational. The matches have been thrilling, the energy has been palpable, and I'm already dreading the day this event wraps up. But we're a long way from the dust settling, and there's a loaded slate to dig into. Let's take a look at some of the best World Cup prediction markets standing out on Tuesday!

The France vs. Senegal clash at 3 p.m. EST has my attention, and the market that jumps off the screen is Ousmane Dembele to eclipse 2.5 shots on goal, trading at 63 cents on Polymarket. Yes, you're paying a bit of a premium, but I think it's warranted.

I went back and looked at every match Dembele has played since the beginning of March — and granted, this spans multiple competitions, including Ligue 1, the Champions League, and the UEFA Nations League. In every match where he logged at least 70 minutes, he recorded at least three shots in 11 of 11 matches. Now, every match and team is different, and things can always get weird, but France is heavily favored in this one, with the price on the favorites bordering on insane. That should mean a relentless attack and plenty of volume. All things considered, 63 cents for Dembele to fire off three-plus shots looks like a generous price.

Anis Hadj Moussa to Score a Goal

Anis Hadj Moussa to score a goal for Algeria against Argentina tonight at 6 cents on Polymarket is a long shot, but what an incredible price. He's been linked in plenty of transfer rumors with clubs worldwide eyeballing him ahead of the summer window, and he's been on a heater. He plays his club football for Dutch Eredivisie club Feyenoord, was born in France, and is representing the Algerian national team. He may be a bit of an unknown to the masses on U.S. soil, but make no mistake — this guy is a baller.

Look at the recent form. He scored in each of his last two friendlies, playing just 45 minutes in each. In fact, during his last two club appearances at the end of May, he found the net three times. Part of the reason we're getting such a great price is that he likely won't start. We'll probably see him come on as a sub. But his form is unreal, and he's a big-time threat. He could make a major impact with the ball at his feet and fresh legs midgame against tired Argentine defenders. This is a small buy for me. Low risk, high reward.

Argentina vs. Algeria Over 2.5 Total Goals

Another market I like in the Argentina vs. Algeria match is over 2.5 total goals, trading at 50 cents.

Argentina is a powerhouse, and the firepower is undeniable. They've scored no fewer than two goals in each of their last four international friendlies, racking up 12 goals over that stretch dating back to the end of March. Algeria will likely be overmatched for much of this one, but they're on a bit of a heater themselves.

They hung four goals on Bolivia last week and put one past the Netherlands. Back at the end of March, they buried seven against Guatemala. They're a bit Jekyll and Hyde, but they've shown the capability to find the net — and with Hadj Moussa trending as a spark plug, the attack has some juice. I like this game to reach three goals.
