2027 Grammys Prediction Markets: Early Favorites as Voting Begins

The 2027 Grammys aren’t decided for months, but that hasn’t stopped prediction market traders gazing into their crystal balls to find winners.
Voting ballots have gone out to the industry, with nominations expected to be decided next month.
And while the big cheeses of the record industry deliberate, it’s the perfect time to hit Kalshi and purchase event contracts yourself. Will it be Harry Styles walking away with Best Pop Solo Performance, or can Gracie Abrams’ Daughter from Hell pick up a nomination?
2027 Grammys Prediction Market: Prenomination Frontrunners
First-round voting on the 2027 Grammys has begun, with general ballots going out to Recording Academy members this week. Voting ends on Oct. 22, so there’s not a lot of time for the industry to get its nominations in.
However, that’s just the kind of uncertainty prediction markets thrive upon. Speculation is rife about who will pick up votes until the official nominations are announced on Nov. 16. That’s when savvy traders can sell their positions and lock in a profit – and hopefully some value.
You can make early trades at Kalshi now by opening an account. And remember, these markets we’ve highlighted are just for artists to receive a nomination. Winning the thing is a whole other ball game: Kalshi will launch dedicated winner markets in the fall.
Song of the Year: ‘Choosin’ Texas’ by Ella Langley ‘Yes’ @ $0.86
Let’s skim past the low-value picks (Taylor Swift’s ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’) and focus on Ella Langley’s country-infused song at $0.86.
‘Choosin’ Texas’ tore up the Spotify streaming charts in 2026, with over 733 million streams on the Top Songs list. Langley enjoyed over 1.2 billion global streams for the song.
‘Choosin’ Texas’ certainly hit a chord with Americans during the 250th anniversary year. Is it good enough to be nominated for Song of the Year at the Grammys?
Our pick: Langley a good-value ‘Yes’ – Kalshi, $0.86
Album of the Year: ‘Lost Weekend’ by Phoebe Bridgers ‘Yes’ @ $0.67
The 2026 Grammys had an odd Album of the Year nominations list: every nominee was a first-timer on the list. However, that’s not to say winners in this category aren’t heavy hitters.
Bad Bunny won last time out with ‘DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS’. A year earlier, Beyonce won with ‘COWBOY CARTER’, and Taylor Swift in 2024 with ‘Midnights’.
Phoebe Bridgers leads the way with ‘Lost Weekend’, followed by Madonna’s ‘Confessions II’ ($0.41). Bridgers received near-universal good reviews for the album. Plus, it checks a lot of boxes to be nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammys: great lyrics, daring production, and – most importantly – an improvement on her previous releases.
You can trade on the outright winner in this category, but traders are being cautious. Olivia Rodrigo is favorite at just 51% for ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’. You have to go down to $0.26 for the next closest chance: Rosalia’s ‘Lux’.
Our pick: Bridgers the best play – Kalshi, $0.67
Best New Artist Nominee: Slayyyter ‘Yes’ @ $0.79
The Grammy nominees for Best New Artist see prediction market traders more confident in their picks.
Oddly, Slayyyter is listed in the ‘New Artist’ category, despite having just dropped her third album.
That oddity aside, traders obviously think she’s a shoo-in for the nominees list, lifting her price 18 points since the voting ballots went out.
Our pick: Slayyter the only pick – Kalshi, $0.79
We’ll have more trending prediction market plays for you later in the week.
