Plus500 Review 2026: Is It Legit?

Written By Chris Kubala , Sports Writer

In February 2026, Plus500 began offering event contract trading services to US traders. It did this through its US subsidiary, which integrated with Kalshi, a US-regulated event contract exchange. So, how does event contract trading at Plus500 work?

That’s what our Plus500 review is all about. We’ll set the context for this conversation with a quick overview of Plus500’s services, including event contract trading in the US. You’ll also discover the results of our tests of the site’s features, including its usability, bonuses, and payment options. We also cover its pros and cons, among other things.

Plus500: Pros & Cons
Plus500: Pros & Cons
  • Secure transaction
  • Great for beginners
  • Fluid native app
  • No bonuses

What is Plus500?

Plus500 Ltd is a fintech brand that offers multiple trading products and services to traders in eligible regions around the world. Some of the products it offers include Contracts for Difference (CFDs), share dealing, futures, and options on futures. Plus500 Ltd, through its subsidiary, Plus500US Financial Services LLC, is a member of the CME Group and the National Futures Association.

It also has a listing on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) Main Market for Listed Companies and is a part of the FTSE 250 index. At the time of this Plus500 review, we learned that the site is a sponsor of three sports clubs, including Legia Warsaw, the Chicago Bulls, and BSC Young Boys.

Sometime in February 2026, the site launched its regulated event-based prediction markets product in the US. It did this by offering event-based contracts through Kalshi, a Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) regulated prediction market exchange in the US. Interestingly, we also learned of a similar partnership during our Webull review.

Basically, Plus500 Ltd is the global brand that’s accessible to traders around the world. Plus500 US Ltd is another US subsidiary that powers the Plus500 Futures site (where the prediction markets product is available) through Plus500US Financial Services LLC.

How prediction markets work at Plus500

Plus500 features several prediction market categories. Some of the categories we found during our Plus500 review include Politics, Sports, Climate and Weather, Economics, Crypto, and Culture. Kalshi provides the event contracts, which Plus500 lists on its futures site. That way, its eligible traders can trade the same event contracts available at Kalshi.

With the site’s prediction markets products, you can trade “Yes”/“No” contracts based on the outcomes of real-world events. You take a “Yes” position if you think it will happen and a “No” position if you don’t think it will happen. The site also allows you to exit your position before the event settles if a trader is willing to become a counterparty to your position.

The event contracts are priced between $0 and $0.99, but their initial prices may change based on market sentiment. Contracts with the correct predictions settle at $1, and those with the wrong predictions expire at $0. The site also charges a $0.01 commission for each contract traded

Here’s what our Plus500 review revealed

We tested Plus500’s features and services to get an idea of what it offers its new and existing traders who want to use its prediction market product. Here’s what our tests revealed:

There are currently no bonuses for event contract trading

At the time of writing, there was no Plus500 bonus for event contract trading. Nonetheless, we found a first deposit bonus and a referral bonus for futures trading. We also learned from the bonus T&Cs that Plus500 also offered additional bonuses, although these were based on the site’s discretion. So, there may be bonuses for event contract trading sometime in the future. Keep an eye on the on-page banners to find out what the latest bonus offers are before signing up.

The Plus500 website is quite easy to use

Similar to our experience during our Gemini Predictions review, we found the Plus500 interface to be very easy to use, especially for new traders. The top of the homepage features multiple tabs such as “Markets”, “Prediction Markets”, “Company”, “Learn”, “Support”, and “EN”. Each tab also has a dropdown menu with several links.

The main part of the page features the live prediction markets. To the right of the page is a “How it works” section. The section walks new traders through their first steps trading event contracts at the site and ends with a responsive “Open Account” button.

To the left of the homepage is a list of the available prediction market categories. Each market on the list also has a dropdown menu that reveals the subcategories within the market. There’s also a search feature that allows you to find any events that you’d like to trade contracts on.

Towards the page’s footer are links to some of the site’s documentation, links to its native app, and official social media pages. There’s also an icon at the bottom right that links you to the live support team.

Aside from the site’s easy-to-use interface, we found its links, tabs, and buttons to be very responsive. All it took was one click to either sift through a market category, get support, or download the native app.

One thing we also noticed during our Plus500 review was that it provided a lot of information for new traders under the “Learn” tab. We found links to its trading academy, forecasts, news & market insights, and a glossary, among others.

The app is very fluid

Plus500 also features a highly rated app that’s compatible with both iOS and Android devices. The app has a 4.5 rating (out of five stars) and 500K downloads on the Google Play Store. It has a 4.7 rating and 10K downloads on the Apple App Store.

When testing the prediction markets product on the app, we found a somewhat similar site design to its desktop version. The main difference was the presence of a bottom menu that hosts several icons that lead to different parts of the site. You’d also have access to the same on-app support and payment methods as the PC version. We didn’t have any issues finding the available markets or trading contracts on the app. You could check our Meta Arena review to find another top-rated prediction app.

For traders who don’t have enough space to download the app, the site is also fully optimized for mobile browsers. It also mirrors the functionality of the desktop version.

Transactions are secure

You can make fast and secure transactions at Plus500, thanks to the number of reputable methods it supports. To fund your account, you could use either Google Pay, Apple Pay, debit cards (Mastercard and Visa), or a bank transfer. Deposits are mostly instant, and the minimum deposit is $10. The site also doesn’t charge any processing fees for making deposits.

It also supports withdrawals via the same methods that you use to fund your account. Withdrawal times depend on your preferred payment method and its processing time. You’d also be required to pay a processing fee for your withdrawals. At the time of writing, the withdrawal fee is 1.75% of the withdrawal amount requested, regardless of the payment method.

Traders get 24/7 support

You can reach the site’s support team via live chat and email support. When we tested both options, we found live chat to be the fastest of the two. The response time for live chat is usually under a minute. But it might take a little longer if there are other traders in the queue waiting to chat with the agents. You can get live support round-the-clock at the site, and the agents that we interacted with during our Plus500 review were both knowledgeable and professional.

It took a couple of hours to get a response when we tested the email support option. Although the answers to our queries were detailed and courteous, we’d recommend using the live chat option if you need fast responses. Email support at Plus500 is best for handling queries that involve submitting documentation.

The site also offers an FAQ section, but it could be better as there weren’t many articles in it.

You’ll enjoy secure event contract trading at Plus500

The site is a US subsidiary of Plus500 Ltd, which is a publicly traded company on the LSE. It offers event contracts through Kalshi, which is registered with the CFTC as a Designated Contract Market (DCM). Note that the site’s availability is subject to local legislation, which isn’t a first for prediction market sites. We found similar restrictions during our Adi Predictstreet review.

The site also uses SSL encryption to secure traders’ personal and financial data. We also learned that once you sign up, Plus500 US Financial Services LLC keeps your funds in a segregated account that keeps your funds separate from the company’s.

Our checks also revealed some tools that the site offers its traders to help them manage their trading experience. There’s a Stop Loss order that lets you set a price level at which a position that you’ve taken can automatically close to minimize possible trading losses. You could also use the Take Profit order to lock in your gains.

Conclusion – Plus500US does a lot of things right

Over the course of this Plus500 review, we concluded that the site’s prediction market product was worth the time spent.

First, its integration with Kalshi can help it build on its reputation as a top futures trading site and fully establish itself in the prediction markets industry. Second, the site is easy to use on both desktop and mobile devices, and there’s professional, 24/7 support for traders. It also supports various reputable payment options, thus making transactions easy. Third, there are lots of markets to trade contracts on, and we like that Plus500 provides educational resources to help new traders get a good grasp of its services.

That said, we’d like to see bonuses for both new and existing prediction market traders, as these offers can improve their good showing in other areas. Our banners offer a way into the site. You can click on them and follow the prompts to visit the site or create your account.
