MooMoo Promo Code For June 2026

Written By Chris Kubala , TheLines Writer

Unfortunately we can’t say for certain whether there will be a prediction market bonus, never mind a Moomoo promo code. However, It’s possible the brand will offer a small incentive to new prediction market traders if only to stay competitive.

We already know that Moomoo isn’t averse to offering promotions, as there are already a few on the site which cater to various types of traders. There’s also a more ‘social’ side to the platform, which presents further opportunities. We can’t give you definitive answers yet, but we can certainly give you our take on the possibilities.

Do we think Moomoo will have a welcome bonus for prediction markets?

There are two ways of looking at this. Firstly there’s the fact that Moomoo already has a welcome bonus for new traders. Albeit one that is set up to help traditional traders who consistently grow their portfolio.

But the fact that it’s there, and has been for some time indicates it has proved worthwhile. As such, Moomoo will be more open to offering an incentive for its prediction markets.

Secondly, adding a new product to its existing trading products has surely come at a cost in terms of both obtaining the necessary credentials to offer event contracts, and the time it will take to adapt its existing platform to include prediction markets.

Although we can’t provide you with a full prediction market review just yet, we don’t think for a minute that Moomoo will enter this market quietly. We think it will want to enter with a bang, and hopefully a competitive promotion will be available to coincide with the launch of its prediction markets.

What type of bonus is Moomoo likely to offer for prediction markets?

This is a tough question to answer, but as we see it, there are four ways Moomoo might decide to go.

Two of those options haven’t been tried before by a prediction market platform (to the best of our knowledge anyway) the other two are already in place at competitor sites. Let’s take a closer look.

Option A - No bonusSome platforms only offer prediction markets. The early starters that jumped on the bandwagon right away didn’t need to provide incentives, because there was so little competition to begin with, retail traders were just happy to take advantage of the opportunity. We just have an inkling that Moomoo won’t go this way.
Option B - A pre-launch incentiveAs far as we know this has never been tried by any other trading platform. However, it has proved to be a successful tactic in other online industries. Given that Moomoo already bucks the trend in other ways, including its underlying social community, we think this might be a hot contender.
Option C - A standard like-for-like welcome offerWhat we mean by this is a deal where you invest $10 on event contracts, and get an equal amount in return. Some prediction market platforms already have similar offers in place, so there’s a possibility that Moomoo will go down this route.
Option D - Ongoing incentivesBased on our many prediction market reviews, we haven’t come across any ongoing incentives beyond referral programs, and rewards for reporting bugs. However, alongside similar options, Moomoo holds two ace cards. The first is the ‘Moomoo Membership Program’ which would take some considerable tweaking, but could be viable. The second is the ‘Moo Points’ system, which is a very strong contender. People love collecting points, and it would be really easy for Moomoo to adapt to suit.

How Moomoo’s contract events will work

Trading contract events at Moomoo will be no different than trading them anywhere else. To start with, most are likely to be simple binary contracts, where there are only two potential outcomes: Yes/No, Up/Down, Over/Under and so on.

Each side will display a percentage where and both add up to 100%. This represents two things:

The price of any given event contract will always be at least $0.01, and no more than $0.99

Let’s look at an example

For this example, we chose an upcoming NHL matchup between the Montreal Canadiens and the Carolina Hurricanes.

The event contract poses the question ‘Will the Canadiens win?’ As they are favored to do so, the event contract shows 70% Yes and 30% No.

If you agree with the majority and predict the Canadiens will win, then you would pay $0.70 for a Yes contract. On the other hand, if you think the Hurricanes might cause an upset, you could buy a No contract for $0.30.

In this scenario, regardless of which team ultimately wins, if you correctly predicted the outcome, your contract pays out at $1.00. But if you choose incorrectly, you get nothing.

What types of prediction markets will Moomoo offer?

We explored this topic in our main Moomoo review, but we feel it’s important enough to demand a second visit.

We’ll start with our shortlist of the prediction market categories Moomoo will possibly offer, before going on to explain our reasoning for each of them.

Economics - Highly likely

This particular prediction market category is at the top of our list, because Moomoo specifically mentioned “Macroeconomic Insights” in its most recent press release. One sample market they’ve featured in th press release is “Will the Federal Reserve maintain or cut interest rates by 25 bps in June?”

Sports - Highly likely

Sports were also quoted with a “Sports Expectations” mention. No real surprises there, as sports are offered by almost every prediction market brand. Expect to trade on topics such as, “Who will be the 2026 FIFA World Cup Champion?”

Politics - Highly likely

To quote Moomoo “Geopolitical Analysis”. In essence, this indicates that political events will almost certainly form part of the brand’s event contract offering. In the brand’s press release, they mentioned the question “Will the Strait of Hormuz resume full transit before July 1st or August 1st?” as an example of what to expect with their politics prediction market.

Crypto - Likely

As cryptocurrency trading is already in place at Moomoo, we believe there’s a strong possibility that the brand will also offer crypto prediction markets at some stage. Especially as the uptake of quickfire event contracts is huge currently. You may find topics related to the prices of different cryptocurrencies.

Culture - Likely

Taking into account Moomoo’s social culture and its underlying gamification features, we think culture prediction markets would fit in well here. After all, who doesn’t engage with some kind of media and have opinions? Expect to trade contracts on questions related to movies, TV shows, songs, and more.

Climate - Wildcard pick

The weather is one of the most-discussed topics in the world. For some, it’s a make or break for their lifestyle, for others it’s just small talk. But in either case, climate predictions might be right, but could just as easily not fit in. With climate markets, you can trade contracts about weather, climate, temperature and more.

A few things we’ve learned about Moomoo

What follows in this part of our Moomoo review has evolved from observing a variety of online sources, together with our own thoughts on how this established trading platform might move forward.

We’ll confine this to a shortlist of ‘fast facts’ based on what we have seen.

Summarizing our thoughts about potential Moomoo promotions

Moomoo has already made a point of announcing its intention to move into prediction markets. The brand already has many years of experience as a trading platform, and likely a very clear idea of what works and what doesn’t.

We definitely can’t say for certain, but we think Moomoo has an ace up its sleeve that will only be revealed at the last minute. Whether that happens to take the shape of a sign up bonus, or something entirely different remains to be seen. In the meanwhile, we’ll just have to be patient.

Moomoo promotions FAQs

📝 Will there be a bonus for Moomoo prediction markets?
Nothing whatsoever has been revealed about when Moomoo will launch its prediction markets, or how the brand intends to go about it. Given that there has already been a press release confirming Moomoo’s intention to offer event contracts imminently, we expect more news very soon.
📱 Will I be able to trade event contracts on the Moomoo app?
It’s highly likely that Moomoo will add prediction markets to its iOS and Android apps at the same time as they go live on the brand’s website, or shortly after. Keep your eyes peeled for new Moomoo updates, as the next one may confirm an official launch date. If it happens, you can expect to trade event contracts on markets like economics, sports, politics, cryptos, culture, and climate.
⚙️ What changes will Moomoo make to accommodate prediction markets?
The obvious one is making changes throughout its website to accommodate a new product. Expect a new section in the Moomoo Help Center, additional guides, tutorials, and also new payment options, as the existing ones are on the slow side. It’s also possible that Moomoo event contracts will feature heavily in the social side of the platform.
