Kalshi Parlay Guide For 2026
We’ve seen many questions about the Kalshi parlay, so we made this guide to clear the air. Kalshi doesn’t allow parlay plays since it’s a prediction market site where you trade outcomes of sports events and other categories.
On Kalshi, you can make combo trades instead, which involve combining different event contracts into one position. As you continue reading, we’ll explain more about how combos on Kalshi work and how you can make one across various prediction categories. You’ll also understand the contract pricing and potential payouts for correct predictions, and how to create an account.
Quick facts about a Kalshi combo
- Kalshi supports combo event trading, not parlays.
- Combo prices on Kalshi are based on a Request For Quote (RFQ) system.
- Kalshi combos settle at up to $1 per underlying contract if successful.
What is a parlay on Kalshi?
Kalshi is a prediction market hub for buying and selling contracts on different events, including sports, politics, culture, and economics. As such, you make trades on the site or mobile app, and there are no parlays. Kalshi only supports combos, which bundle multiple outcomes into a single trade.
When trading on the Kalshi app or desktop site, the options on event contracts are Yes or No. You buy Yes if you predict an outcome will occur, and No event contracts if you expect it not to. The same applies to combos, except that you’ll be combining several events as one, instead of trading them individually.
Combo trading example
Let’s illustrate with a combo trade we made on the Kalshi app. These were the events:
- Yes, for the Rockets to beat the Lakers at $0.55 per contract.
- No, for the Pirates to defeat the Cardinals at $0.48 per contract.
- Yes, for the Ducks to win against the Oilers at $0.50 per contract.
It’s possible to trade each of these events independently. If so, we would receive separate payouts for any correct prediction. However, when we combine them into a combo, all predictions must be correct for the trade to be successful.
Combos are not limited to contracts in different sports events. Kalshi also supports same-game combos, so you can make multiple predictions on one event. An example is purchasing Yes contracts for the Rockets to win against the Lakers and also buying No for the game’s total points to go over 235.
Combo event contract pricing
The prices of Kalshi event contracts depend on real-time market activity. Therefore, if more traders are buying a particular contract, its price increases. If more are selling, the rate decreases. The market is peer-to-peer (P2P), and Kalshi doesn’t set the prices directly.
As observed in our review, combo prices follow a similar but slightly different pattern. When you create a combo trade, it goes into Kalshi’s Request For Quote (RFQ) system. Basically, the site presents the submission to other traders who can quote a price and provide liquidity. There’s no guaranteed match.
If someone quotes a price, you can then accept and execute the trade. Suppose the quote is $0.30 and you have 100 event contracts included in the combo. In that case, you’ll pay $30. However, if no one provides liquidity, your trade won’t go through.
Combo payouts
The maximum payout is $1 per underlying event contract in a successful combo. Consider the previous example we gave, with a total of $30 for 100 contracts. If all predictions in the combo are correct, the payout is $100 ($1 x 100), meaning a $70 profit. Meanwhile, if just one fails, the return is $0.
In our review, we confirmed that Kalshi doesn’t deduct payout fees when withdrawing. You’d need to read a more in-depth guide if you need Kalshi fees explained to you in more detail.
Does not play (DNP) rules
Sometimes, an event in your combo may not take place because it was suspended or postponed. In such situations, Kalshi doesn’t count it as a loss ($0) or a payout ($1). Also, there are no refunds or cancellations. The prediction market site assigns a replacement value instead, typically the last traded price of the event contract.
We experienced such a case when a Mets vs Rockies MLB game in a combo was postponed because of weather conditions. The last traded price of the contract we purchased was $0.60, which became the value of the event.

The site has an automated verification process. If you’re wondering, Kalshi is legal in the US because it’s regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). That said, we recommend checking with your state laws before registering, as regulations may change.
-
Deposit With your account ready, you can fund it using a debit card, crypto, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or other payment methods. The minimum deposit is $10 for most available options. Fees of up to 2% may apply to debit cards, PayPal, and Venmo.
-
Create your combo At this stage, select the sports option on Kalshi’s menu and tap ‘Create.’ Then, select the event contracts you wish to combine into a combo. Depending on the sport, Kalshi may display popular combos you can consider for high liquidity.
-
Submit for a quote price Here’s where you send your combo into the RFQ system. Other traders will see it and can choose to respond. We must mention that this step can be volatile, since quotes are generated in real time. So, it’s essential to watch carefully before accepting any price.
-
Confirm the quote and wait for the outcome Once you spot a suitable price, you accept it and execute the trade. Then, you wait for the events to settle to know whether you win. Remember, all predictions must be correct for the combo to pay out.
Pros and cons of Kalshi combo event trading
When trading combos on Kalshi, you can choose from different sports, and the RFQ system ensures transparency. Also, even if you’re combining events, the payout remains up to $1 per combo contract if the predictions are correct.
For us, the downside is that accepted combo trades are irreversible. You can’t change or cancel once you accept a quote, and there are no refunds.
- Transparent RFQ system
- Supported for multiple sports
- Simple $1 per contract payout
- Combo trades are irreversible
Conclusion – Try out combos on Kalshi today
If you’re interested in Kalshi parlay picks, turn your attention to Kalshi combos instead. The latter is what the prediction market site actually supports.
With combos, you buy Yes/No event contracts on multiple games or the same sports event and combine them into a single trade. If all predictions play out correctly, you receive a maximum of $1 payout per contract. As such, the format is simple.
We advise paying close attention to the RFQ system when trading Kalshi’s combos. It’s transparent, but once you accept a price, you can’t go back. Therefore, you should always double-check to confirm before executing.
