Brokerage house Public has launched an AI tool aimed at speeding up the process of trading on prediction markets.

AI agents went live this week and enables members to “trade on events that can shape financial markets.”

For now, the agents can be deployed across financial markets, tech & science, or elections. The AI uses prediction market data to make on-the-spot decisions, and therefore faster trades before prices change.

AI Agents ‘Built for Investors’

Billed as the “world’s first Agentic Brokerage”, Public lets users access its AI Agents to track markets and make instant order executions based on criteria.

For example, you can order the agent to trade based on a market move or presidential comment. Public says you can also instruct the agent to walk you through different trading scenarios and evaluate risk.

Co-CEO Leif Abraham said Public’s AI agents were “built for investors” who remain active in maintaining their portfolios. “Members can take a position on an event directly or use the market’s data as the signal that triggers a trade anywhere else in their portfolio.”

Public has entered into a partnership with Kalshi, the prediction market giant that has recorded over $400 million in monthly commodities trading.

Kalshi will handle the markets and provide the event contracts. Plus, Public’s AI users can access Kalshi directly through the Public platform.

From Prompt to Trade

Public has set out a simple path for investors to use its AI agent to make more informed plays.

Polymarket’s Squads Show Tools Aren’t Just for Investors

The big prediction markets are steadily developing new tools to help casual and serious investors alike.

For football fans, Polymarket launched its Squads function to coincide with the start of the NFL season.

Squads acts like a group chat embedded in the Polymarket app. Every trade you make is posted to the chat, allowing your followers to tap ‘Buy’ to pick the same trades as you.

Plus, there are two chat options: a free-for-all where all forum members can post their picks, or an Admin option where only you can post.

It’s similar to crypto casinos where open, blockchain technology means other users can track what everyone is betting on and follow the herd.

Kalshi Deal Times with Polymarket Crypto Perps

Not to be outdone this month, Polymarket went live with crypto perpetual futures on its platform.

Launching September 3, “Perps” covered an initial 10 markets, including Bitcoin and gold, before expanding.

Unlike event contracts, which have a fixed end date and resolve at $1.00 per share, perps have no expiration date. Instead, they track prices continuously on stocks or cryptos, allowing traders to profit on a commodity without ever closing the market.
