Follow the link above to sign up for the game. Each day of the opening weekend — Thursday through Sunday — contestants will have a menu of games and must pick moneyline winners for each one.

The catch is that the points are distributed based on the relative likelihood of each team winning the game. That is, picking upsets earns more points — in some cases, a lot more points.

For example, the Saint Peters vs. Tennessee opening-day matchup awards 2 points for correctly picking Tennessee and 1,400 points for correctly picking Saint Peters. Meanwhile, a more even matchup like Michigan State (83.3 points) vs. Mississippi State (95.2 points) awards a more flat distribution.

Keep in mind that it’s probably going to take a pretty high score to win the contest. It’s tempting to click on the favorites and score what seems like certain points. But hitting on the right March Madness underdogs will rack up points much more quickly, and could give you the edge you need to win.
