DraftKings and the PGA Tour announced a sports betting partnership just two weeks ago, and starting on Thursday we will already see that relationship begin to bloom.

PGA Tour Live will begin implementing odds-based content into its premium “Featured Groups” coverage, starting with the Wyndham Championship this week. All DraftKings Sportsbook and DraftKings DFS users will be offered a free, seven-day trail of PGA Tour Live for the Wyndham.

What users can expect with PGA Tour Live betting content

Golf viewers are used to looking at leaderboards on-screen during TV and online broadcasts but PGA Tour Live and DraftKings will take things a step further by showing graphics of live odds and more betting angles throughout the coverage. DraftKings incorporated similar odds-based executions during The Match II, which featured Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning taking on Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady.

In addition, prior to the morning Featured Groups’ tee times during Rounds 1-2 each week, PGA Tour Live will speak with various analysts about their favorite picks and bets for the upcoming rounds of each week’s tournament.

The growing DraftKings – PGA Tour Live relationship

In July of 2019, DraftKings became the PGA Tour’s “Official Daily Fantasy Game” as part of a multi-year, exclusive arrangement. Now, DraftKings is also the “Official Betting Operator” of the Tour.

“The PGA Tour couldn’t be more pleased with growing our collaboration with DraftKings,” said Norb Gambuzza, PGA Tour Senior Vice President, Media and Gaming. “The growth in consumption and fan engagement we have seen over the last year in our DraftKings Daily Fantasy games has been tremendous. The expansion of the relationship to now include sports betting is a natural evolution and one which fully supports and promotes the PGA Tour’s objectives of reaching and engaging new segments of fans while introducing them to our players, tournaments and media platforms.”
