Our Guide to NFL Week 12: Schedule, Matchups, Predictions, & Injury Report

After one of the most entertaining weeks of the season, we're heading to NFL Week 12, where several high-profile matchups dominate the landscape.
Perennial playoff teams like the Ravens, Chiefs, and Lions find themselves on the outside looking in with just seven games left in the season, and desperately need to win their games this week to stay in the conversation. In the NFC, the Chicago Bears and Carolina Panthers hope to keep their miraculous seasons going.
The best games of the NFL Week 12 slate are, undoubtedly, the Colts-Chiefs, Vikings-Packers, Steelers-Bears, and the Buccaneers-Rams. The Monday Night Football matchup between the Carolina Panthers and the San Francisco 49ers will also raise some eyebrows.
Here’s your full NFL Week 12 betting guide, including brief previews and predictions for each game. We'll also take a look at where injuries could make the biggest impacts.
NFL Thursday Night Football
Buffalo Bills @ Houston Texans
Odds: Bills -5.5 (ML: Bills -270, Texans +220 | Over/Under: 43.5 (via FanDuel)
For the first time in several weeks, we have a Thursday Night Football game worth watching. Both teams have won three of their last four games, though the Texans are much more surprising with Davis Mills leading Houston to back-to-back wins.
C.J. Stroud will remain out with a concussion, which means the Texans will have to heavily lean on their top-ranked defense once again.
We love the Texans to have a great game on the ground, like practically every run offense against Buffalo. This could be a trademark Woody Marks game and I expect a big upset.

Indianapolis Colts @ Kansas City Chiefs
Odds: Chiefs -3.5 (ML: Colts +145, Chiefs -175 | Over/Under: 50.5 (via BetMGM)
The NFL's number one offense heads into Kansas City to take on the Chiefs, who have lost two straight and dropped to 5-5. Barring some Mahomes-esque miracle, their bid for a 10th-straight AFC West title will surely fall short, having fallen 3.5 games behind Denver.
It's hardly a surprise that the Chiefs are a betting favorite, as they haven't been a regular-season underdog since their Week 6 battle against the Bills.
If this game is close, don't expect the Chiefs to come out on top. They're 0-5 in one-possession games this season and are still without Isiah Pacheco.

Seattle Seahawks @ Tennessee Titans

Talk about a one-sided game. One of the greatest offenses in all of football takes on the most lethargic attack, who have just lost Calvin Ridley for the rest of the season.
After losing a huge game against the Rams, I think the Seahawks will be motivated to take out their anger on the Titans.

Minnesota Vikings @ Green Bay Packers
Odds: Packers -6.5 (ML: Vikings +240, Packers -300 | Over/Under: 41 (via BetMGM)
An old-school rivalry with a new-school twist. This game doesn't feel like it has the same feel as it used to, though the stakes couldn't be higher.
Both teams have been wildly inconsistent and have points to prove. Jordan Love hurt his shoulder but should be fine to play. Josh Jacobs, however, is questionable, though Emanuel Wilson is pretty serviceable, averaging 4.7 yards per carry on 170 career attempts.
The Packers are also banged up on the O-line and have big questions at the kicker position. However, the thought of Micah Parsons putting pressure on J.J. McCarthy doesn't paint a pretty picture.

There's no way the Ravens are going to slip up this week. I'm not sure the Jets going from one mobile quarterback to another one is going to really do much.
With no Garrett Wilson or Josh Reynolds, Tyrod Taylor still doesn't have many options out there. New Jets WR AD Mitchell looked horrific. Ravens in a rout.

New York Giants @ Detroit Lions

The Lions have been rather disappointing and now find themselves outside the playoff places after a loss to the Eagles on Sunday Night Football.
We seemingly have no clue whether the Lions offense will show up or not on any given week. However, they have tended to crush inferior teams. Take Detroit in a blowout, even though Sam LaPorta is out for at least another month.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Chicago Bears
Odds: Bears -3 (ML: Steelers +130, Bears -155 | Over/Under: 44.5 (via DraftKings)
The Chicago Bears have won seven of their last eight games and lead the NFC North. What planet are we living on?
The Bears are 7-3 for the first time in 15 years and now take on a Steelers team who are just about as unpredictable as the Bears.
Aaron Rodgers fractured his non-throwing wrist, though we all know that he's probably going to start over Mason Rudolph and Will Howard in such a pivotal matchup.
The Bears have a notoriously bad pass rush, ranking 21st in sacks and 27th in total defense. Rodgers should pick them apart.

New England Patriots @ Cincinnati Bengals

We've got an MVP candidate at quarterback going up against the Bengals, who will be missing Ja'Marr Chase as he serves a one-game suspension.
Remember how badly Cincinnati played before Flacco? They're going to be playing at that level without Chase. This is our stone-cold lock of the week.

NFL Sunday Late Afternoon
Cleveland Browns @ Las Vegas Raiders
Odds: Raiders -3.5 (ML: Browns +145, Raiders -180 | Over/Under: 36 (via Caesars Sportsbook)
This game is as ugly as they come. Even with the under at 36, this game probably won't make it out of the 20s.
The Raiders offensive line is the worst I've ever seen in professional football. They couldn't even do anything against one of the league's worst defensive line last week. Now they have to face Myles Garrett. Good luck with that.

These teams are both unbelievably unpredictable. On one side, we've got the Jaguars who look horrible one week and smash the Chargers the next. On the other side, we've got Jacoby Brissett throwing for 452 yards as the Cardinals get smoked.
Honestly, I have no idea how this is going to turn out. Trey Benson has been designated to return from injured reserve this week. I think that's enough to be the tiebreaker for me.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys

Even though the Eagles have only scored 26 points over the last two games, they won both of those contests and are now 8-2 on the season.
Truthfully, I think the Cowboys will rout the Eagles at home. Philadelphia's offense is sputtering, Dallas are clearly better on defense after trading for Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson, and the Cowboys have one of the best defenses in football.
The sharps have already bet this line down from 5.5 to 3.5. Smash the Cowboys ML.

Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints
Odds: Saints -1.5 (ML: Falcons +105, Saints -125 | Over/Under: 39.5 (via BetMGM)
Does anyone really want to watch this game? With only five wins between them, this game matters more for the 2026 NFL Draft than anything else.
Kirk Cousins is back under center after Michael Penix Jr. went down. He won't have Drake London (knee) to throw to either. All he should do is hand the ball off to Bijan Robinson the entire day, and the Falcons should win handily.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Los Angeles Rams

The Buccaneers and the Rams are a battle of two winning NFC teams heading in opposite directions. Matthew Stafford is the favorite to win MVP this season, though his underwhelming performance against the Seahawks has certainly hurt his chances.
The Rams defense is no joke. They're about as complete of a team as there is in the NFL. The Buccaneers are still hurting offensively without Bucky Irving and Chris Godwin, who both remain questionable. WRs Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan are both still out until December.
It's a shame, because Baker Mayfield was the MVP favorite until a few weeks ago. Sadly, Tampa Bay are nowhere near themselves anymore.

Carolina Panthers @ San Francisco 49ers

The Panthers have a winning record in Week 12 and are just a half-game back in the NFC South race. This is a modern-day miracle, and they have the potential to shake up the entire NFC with a win in San Francisco on Monday Night Football.
Understandably, they're huge betting underdogs, with four of their five losses being double-digit defeats. While their win over the Packers was incredible, their other wins (Falcons twice, Cowboys, Jets, Dolphins) aren't much to talk about.
The 49ers, meanwhile, have scored sensational wins over the Seahawks and Rams this season. Brock Purdy had a nice return, throwing for 200 yards and three touchdowns in an easy win over Arizona last week. We expect more of the same against the Panthers.
