Ohio Launch Imminent
The sports betting market in Ohio is on pace to launch smoothly, as lawmakers are working towards the big day. The OCCC has been taking extra steps to allow for a successful launch and is working tirelessly to ensure there are no issues across the three different sports betting license types that are simultaneously launching. The OCCC has approved approximately 1,700 betting licenses already.
“Our team in Ohio is putting an enormous amount of hours in trying to help these vendors and everyone get to the process,” said June Taylor, OCCC Chair. “It’s an inordinate amount of work.”
All roads are heading towards a successful sports betting launch in Ohio. The launch will give locals plenty of time to bet on the remainder of the NFL season leading into Super Bowl 57. This is an exciting time for Ohio sports betting fans.
