North Carolina Online Betting Now Live

Sports betting was able to launch in North Carolina thanks to the successful passing of HB 347, a sports betting bill that brings both online and expanded retail betting to locals. Fans can now wager statewide from a number of active sportsbooks in the Tarheel State.

North Carolina lawmakers were able to come together in June of 2023 to pass the legislation. In less than a year after Gov. Roy Cooper signed the legislation into law, the sports betting market is now live and active. The cumulation of efforts from both chambers and the North Carolina Lottery Commission has reached its climax.

The launch brings forth several top-rated sportsbooks for local mobile devices. In order to claim market access, these operators had to partner with local NC teams and venues. Several major leaders in the sports betting industry have secured their spots and have begun accepting wagers starting today.
