NHL Goal Scorer Predictions Today: Best Player Props for Nov. 2

The calendar flipped to November and daylight savings time is in the rear view mirror. Nonetheless, the NHL season rolls on and that brings us to my top anytime goal scorer props for Monday, November 2. There’s a light four-game slate on the board, with plenty of action to keep you glued to the TV.
We’ll see the Vegas Golden Knights head to Beantown as they face the Boston Bruins in the first game of the night at 7 pm ET. Elsewhere, Alex DeBrincat and the Detroit Red Wings take on Brady Tkachuk and the Florida Panthers at 7 pm ET. There’s also a Central Division clash between the Colorado Avalanche and the Chicago Blackhawks at 8 pm ET. Let’s take a look at our favorite anytime goal scorer props.
Best Anytime Goal Scorer Props Today (Nov. 2)
Goal Scorer Prop #1: Nathan MacKinnon, Avalanche
We’ll start our goal scoring props with a Central Division tilt as the Colorado Avalanche travel to take on the Chicago Blackhawks. We’ll go to DraftKings here to get the odds for this prop.
Colorado is tied for first in the league as they put up an average of 4.21 goals per game on the year. Meanwhile, the Blackhawks struggle defensively. Chicago ranks 30th in the league by surrendering 3.79 goals per contest entering this one. MacKinnon is off to a scorching start to the season as he has nine goals and 15 assists for 24 points in the Avalanche’s opening 14 games.
MacKinnon tallied a goal in three of his last four games entering this contest. In addition, in his last 10 games, he has six goals and 10 assists. MacKinnon is a volume shooter as he has 42 shots on goal in that stretch. Spencer Knight comes in 4-7-0 with a 3.21 GAA and an .897 save percentage on the year. I’ll trust MacKinnon, even at even money, to find a way to light the lamp.
Best Bet: Nathan MacKinnon, Anytime Goal Scorer DraftKings, +110

For our second goal scorer prop, we head to the Sunshine State, where the Detroit Red Wings travel to take on the Florida Panthers in an Atlantic Division tilt. The odds for this prop are courtesy of Hard Rock.
DeBrincat is off to a solid start for the Red Wings this season. He is second on Detroit in goals (six) and leads the team in points (15) in the opening 14 games of the year. One thing you know with DeBrincat is he’s going to let it rip. He has 51 shots on goal to this point of the year. That’s an average of 3.64 per game. Meanwhile, he has 112 shot attempts!
DeBrincat’s 11.8% shooting percentage is actually lower than his career mark of 14.2% so it’s not good fortune pacing him. Akira Schmid (5-2-1, 2.86 GAA, .888 save percentage) is expected to start in goal for Florida. As a result, I’m backing DeBrincat, who scored his 300th career goal last week, to light the lamp.
Best Bet: Alex DeBrincat, Anytime Goal Scorer Hard Rock, +170
Goal Scorer Prop #3: David Pastrnak, Bruins
We’ll take a swing through Beantown for our next play as the Vegas Golden Knights face the Boston Bruins in an interconference clash. We'll roll to FanDuel here for the odds on this particular prop.
David Pastrnak is shooting for his fifth straight season with at least 100 points. He has eight goals and 11 assists in 15 games this season. He is on a tear lately, scoring six goals and dishing out seven assists in his last 10 games. Pastrnak has 31 shots on goal in his last 10 games and is more than capable of doing damage.
Vegas surrendered 44 goals in their first 14 games of the year. Carter Hart (4-3-1, 2.76 GAA, .889 save percentage) or Adin Hill (5-2-0, 2.84 GAA, 891 save percentage) will be between the pipes here. Pastrnak gets top line minutes alongside Pavel Zacha and JJ Peterka. In addition, he logs top line power play time to boot. We’re backing Pastrnak to score in this contest.
Best Bet: David Pastrnak, Anytime Goal Scorer FanDuel, +150
Goal Scorer Prop #4: Macklin Celebrini, Sharks
We’ll head to Silicon Valley for a Pacific Division contest when the Calgary Flames make the trek west to take on the San Jose Sharks.
Macklin Celebrini is a major reason that the Sharks took a massive step forward last season. The former first overall pick is clicking right now. He missed a week with a knee injury but has helped spark the San Jose offense.
For the year, Celebrini has five goals and 11 assists for 16 points in 13 games. Calgary has struggled keeping the puck out of their own net in the early going this season. The Flames are tied for 28th in the league by allowing 3.71 goals per game. Meanwhile, Calgary is tied for 27th in save percentage as their goaltenders have combined for an .879 save percentage.
Devin Cooley is on injured reserve for the Flames. As a result, Dustin Wolf (2-4-0, 4.39 GAA, .849 save percentage) likely starts in goal for Calgary. With plenty of offense forecast for this one, look for Celebrini to be involved here.
Best Bet: Macklin Celebrini, Anytime Goal Scorer FanDuel, +115
Goal Scorer Prop #5: Brady Tkachuk, Panthers
We’ll close out our look at anytime goal scorer props with a return to the Sunshine State for that matchup between the Red Wings and Panthers. After a slow start to the season, Florida got their offense in gear recently.
One of the big contributors for the Panthers of late is Brady Tkachuk. On a line with Sam Bennett and his brother Matthew, Brady Tkachuk has eight goals and seven assists in the last 10 games. Nine of his points came with the man advantage. In addition, he fired 35 shots on goal in the last 10 games.
Florida enters this game ranked in the middle of the pack offensively. They are tied for 15th by scoring an average of 3.14 goals per game. The Panthers are ninth with the man advantage, cashing in on 24.2% of their power play opportunities. Meanwhile, Detroit stands 27th in penalty killing (68.9%) and tied for 24th in save percentage (.883) this year.
With the top two lines for Florida firing on all cylinders, we’ll back Tkachuk to dent the twine.
Best Bet: Brady Tkachuk, Anytime Goal Scorer DraftKings, +155
