NHL Anytime Goal Scorer Predictions Today: Best Bets for Oct. 13

The third week of the 2026-27 NHL season rolls on and that brings us to my top anytime goal scorer props for Tuesday, October 13. It’s the Frozen Frenzy, where all 32 teams are in action. That means there are 16 games on the schedule, with a new puck drop every 15 minutes between 6 pm ET and 9 pm ET. Then there are three more contests, capped by an 11 pm ET faceoff between the Boston Bruins and the San Jose Sharks.
We’ll see the New Jersey Devils head to the Motor City to face the Detroit Red Wings in the first game of the night at 6 pm ET. Elsewhere, Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins take on Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks at 8 pm ET. There’s also a big Western Conference clash between the Colorado Avalanche and the Dallas Stars at 8:30 pm ET. Let’s take a look at our favorite anytime goal scorer props.
Best Anytime Goal Scorer Props Today (Oct. 13)
Goal Scorer Prop #1: Kyle Connor, Jets
We’ll start our goal scoring props with a Central Division game as the Minnesota Wild travel to take on the Winnipeg Jets. We’ll go to FanDuel here to get the odds for this prop.
Minnesota was stingy in their first five games of the year entering Monday’s tilt with the Vegas Golden Knights. The Wild allowed just nine goals in their first five games and killed 16 of 17 shorthanded situations. With Minnesota in action Monday with Jesper Wallstedt between the pipes, Calvin Pickard makes his season debut in goal here.
Pickard was subpart in 13 starts with Edmonton last year, going 5-6-2 with a 3.68 GAA and an .871 save percentage. In addition, he was -10.2 goals saved above average, meaning he gave up 10.2 more goals than the AVERAGE goaltender would have last year.
Connor scored seven goals in his last 10 games and fired 48 shots on goal in that stretch. He has six goals in his first five games this season. Meanwhile, he’s tallied in four of the Jets’ five games this season. We’ll back him to light the lamp again here.
Best Bet: Kyle Connor, Anytime Goal Scorer FanDuel, +140

For our second goal scorer prop, we head to Raleigh, where the Washington Capitals travel to take on the Carolina Hurricanes in a Metropolitan Division tilt. The odds for this prop are courtesy of FanDuel.
Aho is off to a torrid start for the Hurricanes to this point of the season. He has six goals and five assists for 11 points in seven games. In addition, Aho has 24 shots on goal and 40 shot attempts to this point of the season. That includes a goal against the Capitals in the first meeting this season, a 5-2 Carolina loss October 2.
In his career, Aho has 16 goals, 16 assists, 32 points and 91 shots on goal in 35 career games against Washington. He’s clicking right now and with Andrei Svechnikov and William Carrier, the Hurricanes have a tough top line. Meanwhile, Aho has scored in five of his last six games for the Hurricanes. Look for him to find the back of the net again here.
Best Bet: Sebastian Aho, Anytime Goal Scorer FanDuel, +195
Goal Scorer Prop #3: David Pastrnak, Bruins
We’ll take a swing through the Silicon Valley for our next play as the Boston Bruins face the San Jose Sharks in an interconference clash.
David Pastrnak is shooting for his fifth straight season with at least 100 points. He has two goals and five assists in six games this season. Both his goals came in a 6-1 shellacking of Utah at home last week. Getting a crack at the Sharks works in Boston’s favor here. Granted, an 11 pm ET puck drop isn’t ideal but the Bruins can work around that.
San Jose surrendered 17 goals in their first five games of the year. Pastrnak has 40 shots on goal in his last 10 games and is more than capable of doing damage. He gets top line minutes alongside Pavel Zacha and Morgan Geekie. In addition, he logs top line power play time to boot. We’re backing Pastrnak to score in this contest.
Best Bet: David Pastrnak, Anytime Goal Scorer FanDuel, +150
Goal Scorer Prop #4: Connor McDavid, Oilers
We close out look at potential anytime goal scorer props in the City of Angels with the Edmonton Oilers taking on the Los Angeles Kings. The odds for this prop are courtesy of FanDuel.
One thing you know when Edmonton is on the ice is that they have the potential to score a ton of goals. Of course, the flip side of that is that they tend to give up goals by the truckload as well. Connor McDavid is racking up the points in the early going this season. He has three goals and 10 assists for 13 points in the first five games of the year.
In addition, McDavid has at least two points in four of five games this season and scored in three of them. Against the Kings in his career, he has 19 goals, 28 assists, 47 points and 122 shots on goal in 37 regular season matchups. McDavid is clicking even though he hasn’t scored a power play goal at this point of the year.
Edmonton has plenty of offensive firepower. Meanwhile, the Kings are dismal in the penalty killing department (nine of 16), and that makes the Oilers more dangerous. McDavid finds a way to find the back of the net in this contest.
Best Bet: Connor McDavid, Anytime Goal Scorer FanDuel, +125
