Anytime Goal Scorer Picks Today
Logan Stankoven, Hurricanes Over 0.5 Goals (+230, FanDuel)
In the postseason, you won’t find a hotter stick than the twig that is in the hands of Stankoven right now. After setting career highs in goals (21) and points (44) in the regular season, he’s turned it up a notch in the playoffs. Stankoven has six goals and an assist in seven playoff games, including tallying a pair of goals in Carolina’s 3-0 win in Game 1. He has two game-winners and has fired 29 shots on goal (45 shot attempts) in the postseason. He was blanked in the last two games but with the Hurricanes seeking to close things out, Stankoven is a factor. Look for him to light the lamp again.
Cale Makar, Avalanche Over 0.5 Goals (+400, DraftKings)
Makar finished the regular season with 20 goals and 59 assists for 79 points in 75 games. During the postseason, he hasn’t slowed down any. In six postseason games, Makar has four goals and an assist on 16 shots on goal. He scored in three straight games, including a pair in Game 1 against Minnesota. In a series where every rush up the ice seems to be a high-danger opportunity, backing Makar to light the lamp is a sound option.
Quinn Hughes, Wild Over 0.5 Goals (+475, Fanatics)
Hughes was a big acquisition for the Wild in the regular season as they added him from Vancouver. He had five goals and 48 assists in 48 games for Minnesota after the deal. Hughes maintained that success in the postseason. In eight games, he has three goals and eight assists, leading the postseason with 11 points. Hughes has 15 shots on goal (33 shot attempts), giving him a 20% shooting percentage. He and Makar are two of the most explosive defensemen left in the postseason. Seeing them go toe-to-toe and light the lamp wouldn’t be a surprise.

If you’re looking at wagers that don’t involve denting the twine, we have you covered there as well.
Mats Zuccarello, Wild Over 0.5 Points (-145, Fanatics)
Zuccarello missed a couple of games in the opening round against Dallas. When he’s on the ice, he’s contributed. In five games in the playoffs, Zuccarello has two goals and five assists for seven points. He has a point in each game he’s been in this postseason. If the Wild gets back in this series, Zuccarello and Kirill Kaprizov are going to be at the forefront. He puts up a point for the sixth straight postseason game by getting on the stat sheet here.
Avalanche vs. Wild Over 6 (-120, BetMGM)
One thing we’ve seen in this series is that goals have been plentiful. The Avalanche piled up 14 goals in the first two games in the series while the Wild tallied eight. Colorado recorded four straight overs heading into this contest, dating back to Game 3 against the Kings in the opening round. Minnesota has a 6-1-1 mark to the over in the postseason, including each of their last four games. Given the way that both teams are offensively and the numbers in the first two games, it’s hard to see anything more than a repeat of the status quo. Take the over in this contest as a result.
