Best NHL Player Props Today: Anytime Goal Scorer Picks for Nov. 5
Goal Scorer Prop #1: Artturi Lehkonen, Avalanche
We’ll start our goal scoring props with a Central Division tilt as the Nashville Predators travel to take on the Colorado Avalanche. We’ll head to Hard Rock to get the odds on this prop.
Colorado is tied for first in the league, averaging 4.13 goals per game this year. Meanwhile, the Predators are only slightly above average defensively. Nashville is tied for 11th in the league, allowing three goals per contest entering this one. Lehkonen is off to a scorching start, with 12 goals and five assists for 17 points in the Avalanche’s first 16 games.
Lehkonen has scored in four of his last seven games. In addition, in his last 10 games, he has eight goals and four assists. Lehkonen isn’t a high-volume shooter, with 26 shots on goal in that stretch. Juuse Saros is in a 4-3-4, with a 2.76 GAA and a .908 save percentage. I’ll trust Lehkonen here to find a way to light the lamp.
Best Bet: Artturi Lehkonen Anytime Goal Scorer (+175, Hard Rock)
Goal Scorer Prop #2: Kyle Connor, Jets
For our second goal scorer prop, we head to the City of Lights, where the Vancouver Canucks travel to take on the Winnipeg Jets in a Western Conference tilt. FanDuel is offering the odds for this prop.
Vancouver struggles defensively most nights, which is why they stand 3-13-1 this year. The Canucks are dead last in the league by allowing an average of 4.53 goals per night. They are also dead last in save percentage, with their goaltenders posting a collective .859. Connor has 13 goals and four assists in 16 games this year for the Jets. He’s scored in 10 of Winnipeg’s contests.
In his last 10 games, Connor fired 38 shots on goal while lighting the lamp six times. Kevin Lankinen is projected to start for the Canucks. He is a brutal 1-8-0 with a 6.03 GAA and an .808 save percentage. With Connor firing plenty of rubber, he’s a solid bet to find the back of the net.
Best Bet: Kyle Connor Anytime Goal Scorer (FanDuel, +110)
Goal Scorer Prop #3: Brandon Hagel, Lightning
We’ll take a swing through the Sunshine State for our next play as the Chicago Blackhawks face the Tampa Bay Lightning in an interconference clash.
Brandon Hagel is a solid second-line scoring threat for Tampa Bay. He skates alongside Anthony Cirelli and Pontus Holmberg. He also often plays point on the Lightning's first power-play unit.
This year, Hagel is tied for the team lead in goals (eight) and ranks second in points (16) for Tampa Bay. He’s skating an average of 21:29 per contest, so opportunities aren't scarce. Hagel isn’t afraid to let it rip, either. He has 58 shots on goal and 100 shot attempts in 13 games this season.
Meanwhile, Hagel is on a roll. He has seven goals and five assists for 12 points in his last 10 games. He also fired 38 shots on goal in that stretch. Tampa Bay gets a crack at a Blackhawks team ranked 31st in the league, allowing 3.87 goals per game. Spencer Knight (4-8-0, 3.36 GAA, .891 save percentage) is likely to start for the Blackhawks. With Hagel rolling, he's likely to find the back of the net.
Best Bet: Brandon Hagel Anytime Goal Scorer (DraftKings, +125)
Goal Scorer Prop #4: Evan Bouchard, Oilers
For our fourth goal scorer prop, we head to Alberta, where the Anaheim Ducks travel to take on the Edmonton Oilers in a Pacific Division tilt. FanDuel is offering the odds for this prop.
One thing we know about the Oilers is that they can score with impunity. After all, Connor McDavid leads the league with 40 points in 14 games. However, 31 of those are assists, so he’s not denting the twine as much as normal. Evan Bouchard is doing his best Paul Coffey impression, using his offensive weapon from the blue line.
Bouchard has 9 goals and 19 assists for 28 points. He stands at a league-best +23 on the season. In addition, Bouchard has fired 45 shots on goal while ripping 111 shot attempts. The Oilers get a crack at a Ducks squad that ranks third-worst in the league by allowing 3.80 goals a night. Bouchard scored in two straight games, and he makes it three with a goal here.
Best Bet: Evan Bouchard Anytime Goal Scorer (FanDuel, +245)

We’ll close out our look at anytime goal scorer props with an interconference tilt in the Motor City as the Vegas Golden Knights travel to take on the Detroit Red Wings.
The Golden Knights rank 12th in the league offensively, averaging 3.35 goals per game this year. Stone is a big part of that, leading Vegas with 10 goals and nine assists for 19 points. Even at age 34, he still does damage offensively.
Stone is dangerous because he isn't a one-dimensional scoring threat. He has four goals at even strength and four on the power play. However, he leads the league early with a pair of shorthanded goals. In his last 10 games, Stone has seven goals and four assists despite firing just 19 shots on goal.
Stone hasn’t fired many shots (35 shots on goal, 56 shot attempts in 17 games), but he’s capitalizing. He’ll make the most of his chances against Detroit, even with Daniil Tarasov between the pipes.
Best Bet: Mark Stone Anytime Goal Scorer (DraftKings, +185)
