The calendar flipped to November and daylight savings time is in the rear view mirror. Nonetheless, the NHL season rolls on and that brings us to my top anytime goal scorer props for Sunday, November 1. There’s a busy 11-game slate on the board, with plenty of action to keep you glued to the TV.
We’ll see the Winnipeg Jets head to the Tar Heel State as they face the Carolina Hurricanes in the first game of the night at 1 pm ET. Elsewhere, Matt Boldy and the Minnesota Wild take on Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals at 3:30 pm ET. There’s also a big interconference clash between the Edmonton Oilers and the New York Rangers at 6 pm ET. Let’s take a look at our favorite anytime goal scorer props.
Best Anytime Goal Scorer Props Today (Nov. 1)
Goal Scorer Prop #1: Kirill Kaprizov, Wild
We’ll start our goal scoring props with an interconference tilt as the Minnesota Wild travel to take on the Washington Capitals. We’ll go to Fanatics here to get the odds for this prop.
Minnesota is middle of the road offensively, ranking 17th in the league as they put up an average of 3.13 goals per game on the year. Meanwhile, the Capitals are tied for 13th in the league by surrendering 3.08 goals per contest entering this one. Kaprizov is off to a scorching start to the season as he has a league-leading 14 goals and 10 assists for 24 points in the Wild’s opening 15 games.
Kaprizov has goals in seven of his last nine games. In addition, he recorded at least one point in 13 of the Wild’s 15 contests this year. Logan Thompson, despite his 5-3-0 record on the year, has posted a 2.78 GAA and a .903 save percentage on the year. With as hot as Kaprizov’s stick is right now, look for him to put another one on the board.

For our second goal scorer prop, we head to the most famous barn of the all, Madison Square Garden, where the Edmonton Oilers travel to take on the New York Rangers in an interconference tilt. The odds for this prop are courtesy of FanDuel.
One thing we know about the Oilers is that they can score with impunity. After all, Connor McDavid leads the league with 36 points in 13 games. However, 28 of those are assists, so he’s not denting the twine as much as normal. Leon Draisaitl is, having scored a dozen goals while adding a dozen assists on the year.
Draisaitl and McDavid teamed up on new coach Mike Babcock to play on the same line more this year. It’s clearly paid dividends. Draisaitl is lethal on the power play, scoring a league-high six goals with the man advantage. Dylan Garand (4-5-1, 2.69 GAA, .899 save percentage, shutout) has cooled after a hot start. This may be the second game of a back-to-back for Edmonton but I’m not counting out Draisaitl here.
Best Bet: Leon Draisaitl, Anytime Goal Scorer FanDuell, +110
Goal Scorer Prop #3: Logan Cooley, Mammoth
We’ll head to the City of Brotherly Love for an interconference contest when the Utah Mammoth make the trek east to take on the Philadelphia Flyers.
There is no shortage of weapons for the Mammoth offensively this season. Nick Schmaltz and Dylan Guenther led the way in the early going of the year. Clayton Keller, Vincent Trocheck and Lawson Crouse are dangerous. Of late, though, no Utah player has a hotter stick than Logan Cooley.
Cooley has seven goals and eight assists for 15 points on the season. Impressively, he’s scored those seven goals on just 21 shots on goal for a 33.3% shooting percentage. Meanwhile, his Corsi (64%) and Fenwick (62.8%) are career highs. He gets a crack against a Flyers team that allows the third-most shots (30.27) per game. In addition, Philadelphia is 23rd in goals allowed per game (3.33) this year.
Back Cooley to dent the twine in this contest.
Best Bet: Logan Cooley, Anytime Goal Scorer FanDuell, +165
Goal Scorer Prop #4: Beckett Sennecke, Ducks
Our next stop takes us to an interconference contest as the Ottawa Senators take on the Anaheim Ducks. The odds for this prop are courtesy of FanDuel.
Something has to give in this contest. Anaheim comes in 12th in the league with an average of 3.31 goals per game. Meanwhile, Ottawa is 15th in the league when it comes to keeping the puck out of their own net. The Canucks surrender 3.14 goals per contest despite being tied for 8th in save percentage with an .898 mark this season.
Sennecke leads the Ducks with eight goals and four assists for 12 points on the year. He has 31 shots on goal and 64 shot attempts this season. Anaheim is 6th in power play success (28.6%) on the year. In addition, Ottawa is tied for 19th in penalty killing as they successfully navigate 76.9% of their shorthanded situations.
If the Ducks break out of their offensive doldrums, Sennecke is at the tip of the spear.
Best Bet: Bennett Senecke, Anytime Goal Scorer FanDuel, +165
Goal Scorer Prop #5: Logan Stankoven, Hurricanes
We’ll close out our look at anytime goal scorer props with an interconference tilt in the Tar Heel State as the Winnipeg Jets travel to take on the Carolina Hurricanes.
The Hurricanes are tied for 3rd in the league offensively as they put up an average of 3.73 goals per game this year. Stankoven is a big part of that as he leads Carolina with nine goals and three assists for 12 points. At age 23, he’s still very much on the upswing of his career and is primed to shatter his career-high of 21 goals set last year.
What makes Stone dangerous is he isn’t a one-dimensional scoring threat. He has seven goals at even strength and one on the power play. For good measure, he has a shorthanded tally to boot.
Stankoven lit the lamp in four of his last five games entering Saturday. He’s a consistent shooter (46 shots on goal, 84 shot attempts in 15 games) but he’s capitalizing. He’ll make the most of his chances against a Winnipeg team that is 25th in the league by allowing 3.36 goals per game on the year.
Best Bet: Logan Stankoven, Anytime Goal Scorer FanDuel, +230
