NFL Trade Deadline: The Completed Blockbusters and Potential Future Movers

The 2026 NFL trade deadline is shaping up to be one of the most active in history, with Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 4 p.m. ET marking the final opportunity for teams to address their needs before the stretch run.
Several stars have already changed teams, and a few have even suited up in their new threads. Jeffery Simmons was a game-changer on Monday Night Football, bringing a new identity to the Bears defense. Guard Quenton Nelson lined up across from him, wearing his new Seahawks gear. Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner is expected to make his 49ers debut on Sunday. Several contenders still want to strengthen their rosters, and more moves may be on the way.
Colts' Fire Sale Continues
Star running back Jonathan Taylor has emerged as a premier target on the block. Although he signed an extension before the season, the Indianapolis Colts are clearly entering a rebuilding phase. Teams rumored to be pursuing him include the Giants, Broncos, and Vikings.
Josh Downs is another Colts name to monitor, with several contenders potentially interested in acquiring the fourth-year wide receiver. The Steelers, Chiefs, and Commanders are among the teams to watch.
With Grover Stewart on an expiring deal, Indianapolis could move him for draft capital rather than risk losing him without compensation. The Jaguars and Giants are potential landing spots for the 33-year-old veteran.
Offensive Weapons
Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. has surfaced in trade discussions, with the Chiefs and Steelers reportedly exploring receiver help.
The Cleveland Browns have reduced Jerry Jeudy’s role, making him the subject of rumors.
Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert could also move, with the Broncos having emerged as a logical destination
Defensive Help
The Buffalo Bills are also expected to explore upgrades to their secondary. Titans safety Amani Hooker is a realistic target, while Falcons safety Jessie Bates is a more ambitious option. Cardinals safety Budda Baker is another intriguing name.
Along the defensive line, the Cardinals have also received interest in edge rusher Josh Sweat, who recorded 12 sacks in 2025 but has seen his production dip this season. The Chargers continue to tell teams Khalil Mack isn't available.
If the early blockbuster activity is any indication, Tuesday could deliver another busy finish to an already unpredictable trade season.
