Bijan Robinson Anytime TD (-195)

Robinson carries the shortest price of the five, but it’s difficult to argue with his opportunity against Carolina as an MVP-caliber running back.

Atlanta lost 20-13 to Pittsburgh in Week 1, but Robinson remained the focal point of the offense. He handled 21 carries for 83 yards while adding eight receptions for 90 yards, giving him 29 touches and 173 yards from scrimmage. He also scored Atlanta’s only touchdown.

That receiving involvement is important because it makes Robinson much more than a goal-line-dependent bet. Even if the Falcons struggle to consistently move the ball with Cooper Rush expected to start again in place of Michael Penix Jr., Robinson can score as either a runner or receiver.

The matchup only strengthens the case. Carolina allowed Chicago to rush for 291 yards and six touchdowns last week, with D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai both reaching 100 yards.

At -195 on most sportsbooks, there isn’t much value from a payout perspective, but Robinson’s combination of workload, redzone opportunity and receiving ability makes him one of Sunday’s clearest touchdown candidates.

Justin Jefferson Anytime TD (+160)

Jefferson enters Week 2 coming off exactly the type of performance bettors want to see from an anytime touchdown target.

The Vikings star caught eight passes for 92 yards and two touchdowns in Minnesota’s season-opening win over Green Bay. Both scores came during the Vikings’ second-half comeback, once again demonstrating Jefferson’s ability to completely change a game.

Minnesota will have Carson Wentz starting Sunday as Kyler Murray continues through concussion protocol. That creates some uncertainty, but Wentz was the quarterback who engineered Minnesota’s comeback last week, throwing three touchdowns after entering the game.

There should also be scoring opportunities against Chicago. The Bears allowed 37 points to Carolina in Week 1 despite winning comfortably, while their offense generated 59 points of its own.

If another high-scoring NFC North game develops, Jefferson should remain the first player Minnesota wants involved in its passing attack. Getting arguably the league’s premier receiver at +160 makes this one of the more compelling anytime touchdown score today bets.

David Njoku Anytime TD (+290)

Njoku didn’t score in his Chargers debut, but his first game with Justin Herbert provided several encouraging signs. The veteran tight end caught all five of his targets for 58 yards in Los Angeles’ 26-14 loss to Arizona. He tied for the team lead in receptions and finished second in both targets and receiving yards, showing that his offseason arrival wasn’t simply about adding depth at tight end.

Njoku now gets an AFC West matchup against Las Vegas at home. The Chargers need a response after an underwhelming offensive performance in Week 1, and Njoku’s size and athleticism make him an obvious candidate for increased involvement near the goal line.

There is also some uncertainty surrounding Ladd McConkey entering the weekend due to a rib injury. Any reduction in his role could create additional passing opportunities elsewhere.

At +290, Njoku doesn’t need significant volume. If Herbert looks his way once or twice inside the redzone, his size gives him a legitimate opportunity to cash the longest-priced bet on this card.

Mike Evans Anytime TD (+136)

It took Evans exactly one regular-season game to show why San Francisco wanted him.

Evans caught six passes for 49 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers’ 27-7 Week 1 win over the Rams in Australia. Despite not playing a full complement of routes, he tied for the team lead in target share and saw two redzone targets.

Now San Francisco returns home to face Miami. Evans has spent his career establishing himself as one of football’s premier touchdown scorers, and his 6-foot-5 frame gives Brock Purdy a weapon that doesn’t need significant separation to win near the goal line. That fits particularly well alongside Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle, who demand considerable defensive attention themselves.

Week 1 also showed that Kyle Shanahan doesn’t need to completely change Evans’ game to incorporate him into the offense. Give him opportunities in scoring territory and let one of the most productive touchdown scorers of his generation win individual matchups.

At +136, there’s still plus-money value despite Evans immediately scoring in his 49ers debut.

George Pickens Anytime TD (+130)

Pickens is the bounce-back bet of the group. He's going to have to shine again this season for the Cowboys to make the playoffs.

Dallas opened its season with a 28-20 loss to the Giants, and Pickens had an unusually quiet afternoon. He caught only three passes for 28 yards and had multiple drops as the Cowboys struggled to generate explosive plays.

That shouldn’t erase what Pickens accomplished last season or his importance to Dallas’ offense. He and CeeDee Lamb give Dak Prescott two dangerous downfield targets, and Pickens is capable of scoring without Dallas needing to manufacture a traditional goal-line opportunity.

Washington’s Week 1 defense provides some encouragement for a rebound. The Commanders limited Philadelphia in stretches but allowed several explosive plays, including a 64-yard completion. Washington’s coaching staff has openly emphasized eliminating those chunk gains ahead of facing Lamb and Pickens.

That matchup makes Pickens interesting at +130. His Week 1 struggles could easily be an outlier, and Dallas should make getting its explosive passing game going a priority in another important NFC East matchup.

Week 2 touchdown betting is ultimately about deciding which parts of the opening weekend are meaningful and which are noise.
