Anytime touchdown scorer betting today closes out NFL Week 3 with the Philadelphia Eagles traveling to Chicago for a Monday Night Football matchup against the Bears. Philadelphia enters the night unbeaten at 2-0, while Chicago sits at 1-1 and will be without starting quarterback Caleb Williams.
That quarterback situation creates some interesting touchdown opportunities on both sides. Tyson Bagent has cleared concussion protocol and is available for Chicago, but Case Keenum is expected to get the start. Anytime TD Prediction #1: Jalen Hurts (+149)
Jalen Hurts remains one of the easiest quarterbacks in football to back in the anytime touchdown market because his value around the goal line is unlike nearly anyone else at the position.
Philadelphia’s ability to use the former MVP as a short-yardage runner gives him a legitimate scoring opportunity almost anytime the Eagles get inside the 5-yard line. He doesn’t need to scramble for 30 yards or pile up rushing attempts throughout the night. Sometimes all it takes is Philadelphia getting stopped just short of the goal line.
The Eagles should have opportunities to reach scoring position against Chicago, and Saquon Barkley’s presence actually helps create those chances by forcing defenses to respect the running back on every goal-line snap.
Hurts is also capable of creating something with his legs if a passing play breaks down, and we don't even need to mention how the Eagles operate at the goal line. At +149, the payout is still attractive considering just how large a role Hurts plays in Philadelphia’s short-yardage offense.

Anytime TD Prediction #2: Colston Loveland (+335)
Colston Loveland has been extremely quiet through two games, which is exactly why this price has become interesting.
The Bears tight end has just one reception for three yards this season after entering 2026 with expectations of becoming a significant piece of Chicago’s passing attack. It’s far too early to give up on a former top-10 pick with Loveland’s physical tools.
Williams being sidelined changes the offense, but a backup quarterback could actually create additional opportunities for a tight end.
Whether Chicago turns to Bagent or veteran Case Keenum, shorter throws and reliable targets in the middle of the field could become more important against a strong Philadelphia defense. Loveland has the size and athletic ability to become that type of safety valve, especially as the Bears approach the end zone.
This is a buy-low touchdown play more than a bet on recent production. At +335, one red-zone target could make the price worthwhile.

Anytime TD Prediction #3: Zach Ertz (+475)
Zach Ertz returning to Philadelphia is already a great storyline. Finding the end zone in his first game back would make it even better.
The Eagles reunited with the veteran tight end after Dallas Goedert suffered a knee injury in Week 2. Goedert has been ruled out for Monday, creating an immediate opportunity at a position where Philadelphia suddenly needs help.
Ertz hasn’t played a game in more than nine months, so expecting a huge workload immediately would be aggressive. But scoring a touchdown doesn’t require eight receptions or 70 receiving yards.
What Ertz does bring is extensive experience, strong hands and years of familiarity with what the Eagles want from the tight end position. At 35 years old, his most useful snaps could come in obvious passing situations and near the goal line.
For a player available at nearly 5-to-1 odds at most sports betting sites, a few high-value snaps could be all we need.

Anytime TD Prediction #4: Philadelphia Defense (+650)
Philadelphia’s defense is one of the more intriguing long-shot touchdown plays on Monday night because of Chicago’s uncertainty at quarterback, which has been all over the headlines.
Williams is officially out with a hamstring injury, leaving Bagent and Keenum as the Bears’ alternatives. Bagent has cleared concussion protocol, but he missed valuable preparation time during the week. Keenum, meanwhile, would be making his first start for Chicago if the Bears turn his direction, which appears to be the case.
Neither scenario is ideal against an Eagles defense capable of creating pressure and forcing mistakes. A defensive touchdown is always difficult to predict, but that’s why the odds are so much longer. One poorly timed throw can become a pick-six, while pressure in the pocket can create a strip-sack and another path to the end zone.
With Chicago starting a backup quarterback against one of the NFL’s stronger defenses, there’s enough upside here to take the swing.

Darius Cooper is easily the biggest long shot of these five picks, but we already saw exactly how this wager can hit last week.
Cooper caught just two passes against Tennessee, yet one was a three-yard touchdown with nine seconds remaining that gave Philadelphia the winning score. More importantly, his role expanded significantly after Goedert went down. He played 31 offensive snaps in Week 2 after seeing only eight in the opener.
That doesn’t suddenly make him a featured receiver, but Philadelphia enters Monday without Goedert and Marquise Brown, which could once again create additional snaps for Cooper.
At +900 on most sports betting apps, volume isn’t the expectation. We’re looking for one play. Cooper showed last week that Hurts is willing to look his direction near the end zone, and another injury-created opportunity could be enough for him to pay off as the longest-priced anytime TD scorer selection on the card.
