Anytime touchdown scorer picks for Oct. 18 span the full Sunday NFL slate, with five options across five different matchups. This week’s card leans heavily toward running backs, which makes sense given how dependable goal-line volume can be when trying to identify touchdown scorers.

Jonathan Taylor and Javonte Williams carry high prices but also some of the clearest paths to the end zone on Sunday. Jaylen Warren and Cam Skattebo bring more favorable odds, while Trey McBride gives us one pass-catching option at tight end.

Best Anytime Touchdown Scorer Picks for Oct. 18

The goal with this week’s card is to mix reliability with value. Taylor and Williams are essentially bets on established offensive roles, while Warren and Skattebo can score in multiple ways. McBride has become one of the NFL’s premier tight ends and should remain heavily involved in Arizona’s offense.

Here are five anytime touchdown scorer picks to consider for Week 6, with plenty of NFL news skewing odds due to injuries and matchups.

Anytime TD Prediction #1: Jaylen Warren (+110)

Jaylen Warren is one of the more versatile running backs on Sunday’s slate, which immediately makes plus money appealing.

Warren is dangerous as a traditional runner, but what separates him is what he can do in space and as a receiver out of the backfield. Pittsburgh can create touches for him in several different ways, giving him more potential paths to the end zone than a back who relies almost entirely on goal-line carries.

We saw that explosiveness last week against Indianapolis.

Warren piled up 188 yards from scrimmage and scored twice, including an 80-yard receiving touchdown and a 50-yard rushing score. Those plays perfectly illustrate why he’s such an intriguing anytime touchdown option. He doesn’t necessarily need Pittsburgh to reach the 1-yard line to cash this ticket. Tampa Bay presents a tougher defensive challenge, but Warren has become too important to Pittsburgh’s offense to ignore. If they're going to be Super Bowl contenders, his success is key.

At +110, his combination of workload and versatility makes him one of the best values on the board.

Anytime TD Prediction #2: Cam Skattebo (-110)

Cam Skattebo is built for exactly the type of situations that often decide anytime touchdown wagers.

He’s a physical, downhill runner who can bully his way through contact, and the Giants have consistently trusted him with significant rushing volume. Skattebo has handled at least 12 carries in every game this season and already has four games with 18 or more touches when receptions are included.

The touchdowns haven’t followed that workload lately, but that creates an opportunity against New Orleans. Skattebo scored in Week 1 but hasn’t reached the end zone since. He still has 294 rushing yards and another 79 through the air, so he continues getting opportunities even without the scoring production.

The Saints have struggled through the early part of the season, making this a matchup where New York should have opportunities to sustain drives and reach scoring territory. Once the Giants get close, Skattebo’s physical running style makes him a natural candidate to finish the possession.

At -110 at most sportsbooks, this feels like a strong spot for his touchdown drought to end.

Anytime TD Prediction #3: Jonathan Taylor (-290)

There’s nothing exciting about laying -290 on an anytime touchdown scorer, but Jonathan Taylor is about as close to a straightforward selection as we have this week.

Indianapolis’ offense has been inconsistent, particularly with Daniel Jones not playing at the same level he did last season. That only makes Taylor more important. When the Colts need to generate offense consistently, their running back remains the player they can lean on.

The matchup helps considerably. Tennessee enters Sunday winless, and Indianapolis is favored at home in a game where the Colts should have opportunities to play from ahead and continue feeding Taylor. That game script is ideal for a lead back.

Taylor also doesn’t need Indianapolis to put up 35 points. If the Colts generate only a couple of quality red-zone opportunities, he should still be one of the first players considered to finish those possessions.

The price reflects how obvious the play is, but sometimes there’s value in simply taking the most likely scorer.

Prediction: Jonathan Taylor anytime touchdown at -290 via BetMGM

Anytime TD Prediction #4: Trey McBride (+155)

Trey McBride has developed into one of the best tight ends in football, and Arizona’s current offensive situation should only increase his importance.

McBride leads the Cardinals with 308 receiving yards and has already scored three touchdowns through five games. He caught nine passes for 66 yards and found the end zone last week against Detroit, continuing to establish himself as one of the most dependable pieces of Arizona’s passing attack.

The Cardinals are also dealing with injuries and turnover elsewhere on offense, which makes McBride even more valuable. He’s capable of generating production between the 20s, but his size and reliability become particularly useful near the goal line.

The Rams have been strong against opposing passing games overall, so this isn’t an easy matchup. But volume matters in touchdown betting, and McBride should continue commanding targets regardless of game script.

At +155 on most sports betting apps, we’re getting plus money on Arizona’s most reliable receiving option.

Prediction: Trey McBride anytime touchdown at +155 via DraftKings

Anytime TD Prediction #5: Javonte Williams (-210)

Javonte Williams has become one of the NFL’s most reliable touchdown scorers through the first five games and has been a big reason the Cowboys are still in the playoff hunt.

Williams has seven total touchdowns this season, including six on the ground, and he’s already shown the ability to score multiple times in the same game. His three-touchdown performance against Houston was the clearest example of how dangerous he becomes once Dallas starts consistently reaching the red zone.

Even in last week’s loss to Tampa Bay, Williams found the end zone again. That’s what makes this bet so appealing.

Dallas’ red-zone offense has been inconsistent in stretches, but the one thing the Cowboys have repeatedly been able to trust is handing the football to Williams when they get close. Now Dallas travels to Green Bay for a game it badly needs after falling to 2-3. The Packers have also struggled against the run and enter the matchup dealing with significant injuries in the middle of their defense.

At -210, the odds are steep, but Williams’ scoring role has become too consistent to ignore.
