Seahawks vs. Broncos Prediction, Odds & Picks for Oct. 15: JSN Draws Prime Matchup

The Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos are both looking to close the gap on undefeated teams in their respective divisions. Our Seahawks vs. Broncos prediction outlines FanDuel odds, betting trends, injuries, and best bets for Thursday Night Football.
The Seahawks are 3-2, but that doesn’t tell the entire story. They boast a dominant +29 point differential through five games, which is one of the best in the NFC. Their underlying performance has been better than their 3-2 record suggests.
The Broncos also enter this game with a 3-2 record, but they aren’t in the same position as Seattle. They own a -14 point differential, while struggling to find success on the road in 2026.

The Seahawks have mostly looked good in 2026. They have wins over the New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals, and Los Angeles Chargers. Their most recent loss to the San Francisco 49ers isn’t worrisome, but they also have a road loss to the Washington Commanders. Here are some trends for Seattle this week:
- The Seahawks are 3-2 straight up and 1-3-1 ATS this season.
- The Over is 3-2 in Seattle games.
- Seattle ranks fifth in the NFL, averaging 8.1 yards per pass attempt.
- The Seahawks are fairly healthy, excluding the players on injured reserve.
Seattle’s performed well this season, but there are questions about their wins. Their initial win against New England looked better in Week 1 than it does now, and they most recently lost at home to San Francisco.
The biggest question mark for this game is their defense on the road. They dominated the Cardinals, but they also allowed 33 points to the Commanders. If Seattle’s road defense remains inconsistent, they could struggle to find enough success to win this matchup.

Denver Broncos Betting Trends
The Broncos have had a difficult schedule through five games. Their only losses have come to undefeated teams (Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers). They also have impressive wins against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Rams. Their third win came against the Los Angeles Chargers. Here are some Denver trends for this week:
- The Broncos are 3-2 straight up and 3-2 ATS this season.
- The Over is 1-4 in Denver games.
- Denver’s averaging 0.420 points per play at home compared to 0.280 on the road.
- Talanoa Hufanga’s been ruled out, while Pat Surtain is doubtful.
The Broncos are one of the most difficult teams to project. They have outstanding home wins against Jacksonville and Los Angeles. They also scored 30 points against the Rams, flashing the offense most were expecting.
Denver’s losses shouldn’t be held against them either, since they’re against teams that are in the elite tier of the NFL. The concern is how their offense has looked, and the injuries in the secondary are always worrisome.

Seahawks vs. Broncos Prediction: Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 91.5 Receiving Yards
Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s over 91.5 receiving yards is my favorite Seahawks vs. Broncos prediction.
Smith-Njigba is locked into one of the best roles in the NFL. He ranks fifth in targets (50), eighth in air yards (512), and second in yards after the catch (185) through five games. Most importantly, he leads the NFL with 40 catchable targets.
The Broncos have limited opposing wide receivers this season. They’re only giving up 117.8 receiving yards per game to them, which ranks as the fourth-lowest in the NFL. Still, we’ve seen plenty of wide receivers, including Mike Evans, Davante Adams, Parker Washington, and even Konata Mumpfield, find success against them.
Denver will be without starting safety Talanoa Hufanga, and Pat Surtain is doubtful. Riley Moss is questionable while dealing with an injury, and if Surtain can’t go, the Broncos don’t have anyone to match up with JSN. He should be the focal point of Seattle’s game plan, and he should see plenty of opportunities to beat this number.
Best Bet: Jaxon Smith-Njigba over 91.5 receiving yards (-114 @ FanDuel Sportsbook)
More Seahawks vs. Broncos Picks, Props and Best Bets
Here are a few more Seahawks vs. Broncos betting angles to consider:
- Seahawks/Broncos Over 40.5 Points (-115 @ FanDuel Sportsbook) - We’re getting a low total on two defenses dealing with vulnerabilities and injuries. Denver doesn’t have the defensive backs to stop JSN, while Seattle’s struggled at times on the road this season.
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba Anytime Touchdown (+105 @ FanDuel Sportsbook) - Smith-Njigba currently ranks second in the NFL in red-zone targets (11). He owns an elite role in this Seattle offense, and he should find plenty of success with Pat Surtain doubtful.
- George Holani Over 8.5 Receiving Yards (-114 @ FanDuel Sportsbook) - Holani returned to his usual receiving role despite dealing with injuries last week, and he continues to handle much of Seattle’s running back receiving work. Denver is allowing nearly 50 receiving yards per game to opposing RBs.
