Rams vs. Broncos Prediction, Odds & Picks for Sept. 27: L.A. Wins Again

Two 1-1 teams face off in the Mile High City on Sunday night as the Denver Broncos host the L.A. Rams in a non-conference clash. In this Week 3 Rams vs. Broncos prediction, we break down the odds and trends and offer our picks, including some value props.
After laying an egg down under in a bad opener, the Rams were impressive in their last game, posting a 28-6 win over the New York Giants. The Broncos had a tougher time evening their record in their last game with a hard-fought 20-13 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Rams vs. Broncos Odds
Both of these teams are in second place in their respective divisions. While early, this Week 3 game is big, as each team trails a couple of 2-0 teams in its division.
Here are the odds for this Sunday night primetime matchup at BetMGM Sportsbook.
- Spread: Rams -3 (-110) / Broncos +3 (-110)
- Moneyline: Rams (-135) / Broncos (+110)
- Total (Over/Under): Over 44 (-108) / Under 44 (-110)
The Rams come in as the favorites, and oddsmakers set a middle-ground total, pitting the Rams' potent offense against the Broncos' solid defense.
For novice bettors taking the spread, the Rams have to win by four or more points to win the bet, called cover the spread, and the Broncos have to win outright or lose by fewer than three points. For more info on the spread, check out our point spread betting guide.

- The Rams are 1-1 ATS this season, failing to cover in the first game and covering in the last one.
- While the total went Over in eight of the last nine games last season, both of their games this season have gone Under.
- They are 6-4 ATS in their last 10 road games.
- They rushed for 163 yards in the win over the Giants last week and are 8-0 ATS in their last eight games after rushing for 150+ yards in the previous game.
The Rams have been the favorites in both games this season and in six of their last seven games overall.
L.A. was the league's highest-scoring team last season, which is why most of their games went Over. Early in the season, Matt Stafford and company scored only seven points in the season opener but bounced back with 28 points last week.
It is early, but the Rams have some of the best Super Bowl odds at the popular US sportsbooks.
Denver Broncos Betting Trends
- Like the Rams, the Broncos are 1-1 ATS, failing to cover in Week 1 but doing so in Week 2.
- Dating back to last season, they have an Under record of 5-1 in their last six games, including both games this season.
- They are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games.
- They have an Under record of 5-2 in their last seven home games.
It's not surprising the Under has been the winning pick for Denver in their last several games, and last season their defense ranked second in the league. While they haven't faced the Rams since 2022, the underdog is 7-0 ATS in the last seven matchups.

Rams vs. Broncos Prediction: L.A. -3 (-110)
The Rams dominated in their last game, beating the Giants 28-6 and outgaining them 481 yards to 182. Stafford threw for 327 yards and 4 TDs and one INT; Kyren Williams and Blake Corum combined for 164 rushing yards, and Davante Adams had a big game with 195 receiving yards and two TDs.
The Broncos needed a 14-0 fourth quarter to beat the Jags last week and played a solid defensive game, giving up only 13 points. Their offense has not clicked so far, totaling only 31 points in their first two games.
One big question in this game is whether Denver's pass rush can get to Stafford. They led the league in sacks last season but only have two in each of the first two games. The pass rush will face a Rams O-line that has allowed only one sack in its first two games.
While the Broncos have a better defense, on paper, the Rams killed it on D in their last game. The L.A. offense is back on track after the first game Down Under, and the Broncos will not be able to contain Stafford and company. That, coupled with another strong defensive effort, means the Rams will win and cover in this non-conference Sunday night matchup.
The public has my back so far, and as of Saturday evening, 64% of the betting public has taken the Rams to win and cover the spread.
More Rams vs. Broncos Picks, Props and Best Bets
Here are some solid prop bets from the top US sportsbooks that we think have good value.
- Kyren Williams 60+ rushing yards: (+129, DraftKings) – Williams has great value here and in the last game rushed for 82 yards. He has double-digits in carries in each of the last two games, and while the Denver defense gave up only 95 rushing yards in the last game, they were gashed on the ground in the season opener, giving up 220 rushing yards.
- Bo Nix Over 220 passing yards: (+118, FanDuel) – Nix passed for 288 yards in the last game, and while not known as a QB that can rack up the yards, he did it in the last game and will likely air it out often with a Denver run game that has some banged-up backs and only ranks 27th in rushing yards per game.
- Davante Adams to score a TD: (+105, BetMGM) – Adams had two TDs last week in the win over the Giants in a monster game with 195 receiving yards, and with Puka Nacua still out, he will be Stafford’s main target again.
