The Panthers have been wildly inconsistent this season, with wins over the Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, and Philadelphia Eagles. They’ve also been blown out by the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while losing a competitive game to the Cleveland Browns. Here are some trends for Carolina this week:
- The Panthers are 3-3 straight up and 3-3 ATS this season.
- The Over is 3-3 in Carolina games.
- Carolina ranks 26th in points allowed per play (0.427).
- Jaelan Phillips and Akayleb Evans have been ruled out, along with Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson on IR.
The Panthers have been inconsistent in most facets of the game in 2026. They’ve scored 30+ points in three of their six games this season. They’ve also scored 18 or fewer points in two games, including a blowout loss to Tampa Bay last week.
Carolina’s defense hasn’t been great, giving up 59, 26, and 43 points in three games this season. They’ve looked good against Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Cleveland, although Atlanta and Philadelphia were using backup quarterbacks.

Green Bay Packers Betting Trends
The Packers have been another inconsistent team in 2026. They have losses to the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions in the NFC North. They also lost to the Atlanta Falcons at home. Wins against the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Chicago Bears, and Dallas Cowboys have kept their playoff hopes alive. Here are some Green Bay trends for this week:
- The Packers are 4-3 straight up and 4-3 ATS this season.
- The Over is 2-5 in Green Bay games.
- Green Bay ranks sixth in points allowed per play (0.313).
- Zaire Franklin and Sean Rhyan will be out, but Matthew Golden logged a limited practice on Wednesday.
The Packers have generally struggled to find points on offense this season, but they’ve flashed at times. They scored 31 against Chicago, but their inability to finish drives once in scoring range is their biggest issue.
Green Bay’s defense has looked elite in 2026. They’ve held five of their seven opponents to 20 or fewer points, and Minnesota had plenty of help from their defense to score on the Packers. This is the strongest part of their team.

Panthers vs. Packers Prediction: Jordan Love Over 260.5 Passing Yards
Jordan Love Over 260.5 passing yards is my favorite Panthers vs. Packers prediction.
Love is in the midst of an incredible season for Green Bay. He’s averaging 279.7 passing yards per game through seven starts in 2026. He’s thrown for at least 270 passing yards in four of his last five games, including starts with 312 and 367 yards.
The Panthers have struggled defensively, but they’ve quietly performed well against the pass. They’re only giving up 5.9 yards per attempt, which ranks as the fifth-best in the NFL. They’re allowing less than 200 passing yards per game in 2026.
Carolina is dealing with several key injuries, though. Jaelan Phillips has been ruled out, limiting their pass rush. Starting cornerbacks Mike Jackson and Jaycee Horn are on injured reserve, while backup Akayleb Evans has been ruled out.
If Love has time to throw against this secondary, he should find plenty of success, even with Green Bay’s injuries on offense.
Best Bet: Jordan Love over 260.5 passing yards (-114 @ FanDuel Sportsbook)
More Panthers vs. Packers Picks, Props and Best Bets
Here are a few more Panthers vs. Packers betting angles to consider:
- Green Bay Packers Moneyline (-196 @ FanDuel Sportsbook) - Green Bay’s been better at home this season, and they’ll have home-field advantage on a short week. The Panthers are dealing with several injuries, while the Packers have managed their injuries well at this point. Their defense should limit Carolina, while the Panthers struggle to slow down Green Bay’s passing attack.
- Christian Watson Over 71.5 Receiving Yards (-114 @ FanDuel Sportsbook) - Watson boasts an elite role in this Green Bay offense, and it could be bigger with Matthew Golden dealing with injuries. The Packers should feature Watson against Carolina’s backup secondary, and he boasts elite upside with his big-play ability.
- Green Bay Packers Over 26.5 Team Total (-106 @ FanDuel Sportsbook) - The Packers rely heavily on their passing attack, and Carolina will be without three key cornerbacks. They’ll also be without one of the best pass rushers, and Jordan Love’s been an elite quarterback in a clean pocket in 2026. They could also look to push for touchdowns with their kicker woes this season.
