The 49ers head south to take on the Chargers in a non-conference clash in La La Land. We like the Under in this game, and that was the winning pick for both teams in their last preseason games.
Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh stated that his team’s starters will only play one series. 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said he will play many of his starters, but for how long?
San Francisco is already dealing with injuries to key players, and with Brock Purdy’s injury history, I would not think he will see many snaps. Backup Mac Jones may see some time too, but Shanahan may be cautious with him as third-stringer Kurtis Rourke is out after a rib injury suffered in the first preseason game — a 19-13 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
Adrian Martinez may see most of the action for the 49ers, and in the last game, he led them to only six points.
The Chargers won their first preseason contest 27-7 over the Houston Texans with Trey Lance and DJ Uiagalelei getting all of the snaps. They were solid on offense in the game, but in this one, they face a San Fran defense with several good veteran backups.
Look for a lower-scoring game in the City of Angels tonight.

In a prop bet for this game, we also like the Chargers rushing for at least 100 yards. They rushed for 111 yards in their last game, and they may lean on the run game more in this one. Not only does Harbaugh like to run the ball, but in a recent joint practice between these teams, the Chargers had offensive line issues protecting the quarterback.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Houston Texans
This is another game where we like the Under, and in both teams’ Week 1 preseason games, that was the winning pick.
In their last game, the Texans lost to the L.A. Chargers 27-7. They had only 209 total yards and under 100 passing yards. The starters will get some action for Houston in this game, but not much.
C.J. Stroud may see a series or two, but Davis Mills will likely see most of the reps. Recently signed Brett Rypien is now the No. 3 QB in Houston, with Graham Mertz out for the season after suffering a knee injury last week.
The Raiders lost their preseason opener 27-14 to the Arizona Cardinals, who shut them out in the second half. Kirk Cousins and No. 1 overall pick in the last draft, Fernando Mendoza, played well in limited action, and they may split reps in the first half. However, in the second half, look for third-stringer Aidan O'Connell to get most of the reps, and last week he was only 4-13 for 85 yards.
These teams already have offensive issues, will play mostly backups, and only combined for 21 points in their preseason openers. Don’t look for a lot of offensive fireworks in this AFC matchup, which is why the Under is the pick.

NFL Parlay Picks Payout
In taking these three NFL parlays, the overall odds are +574. So, a $100 bet would pay out $674 for a profit of $574.
