Jaguars vs. Ravens Odds, Picks & Prediction: Jax Wins Big on TNF

On Thursday night in primetime, the sinking Baltimore Ravens play host to the streaking Jacksonville Jaguars. In this Jaguars vs. Ravens prediction, we will lay out the latest odds, betting trends, key game info, key stats, and some value player prop bets.
The Ravens (4-4) are reeling, having lost three in a row, and they are down to their third-string QB, with star Lamar Jackson and backup Tyler Huntley each likely out for the season.
The Jaguars (5-2) are coming off a blowout win, have won four of five games, and are running away with the AFC South, with no other team in the division with more than two wins.

Here are the odds for this AFC Thursday night matchup at DraftKings Sportsbook.

- The Jags are 4-1 SU in their last five games.
- They are 4-3 ATS this season.
- The total has gone Over for them in the last two games while going Under in the four games before that.
- They are 1-1 SU and ATS on the road this season.
The Jags are rolling at 5-2, and in their last game they laid a 42-7 beatdown on the Indianapolis Colts. Trevor Lawrence threw for 210 yards and three TDs with no picks, and the team rushed for 183 yards, led by Bhayshul Tuten with 104 yards and a TD.
Jax has been very balanced this season, ranking fifth in the league in scoring (28 ppg) and second in points allowed (15.9 ppg).
Lawrence hasn't been putting up huge numbers, ranking 18th in passing yards, but he ranks third in TDs (17), has only been picked off four times, and ranks ninth in QBR. One concern for the Jags is that leading rusher Tuten (492 yards, 3 TDs) is listed as questionable with an injury.

Baltimore Ravens Betting Trends
- The Ravens are 0-3 SU in their last three games.
- They are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games.
- They have an Over/Under record of 4-4 this season.
The Ravens have sunk since losing Jackson, and in their last three games they have totaled only 33 points; they have also been blown out in their last two games, giving up at least 35 points each.
Joe Fagnano will get his first career start at QB, and in the last game the undrafted rookie got his first NFL action in a 36-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills. He was 10-for-21 for 91 yards with no TDs, an INT, and he lost a fumble. With the Ravens playing catch-up, they could not lean heavily on workhorse RB Derrick Henry, who had only 11 carries for 53 yards.
Henry leads the NFL in carries, ranks seventh in rushing yards, and has not rushed for over 58 yards in any of the last three games. He has a tall task in this game facing a Jacksonville run defense that leads the NFL, giving up an average of 77.4 rushing yards per game.
This may be Fagnano’s only start, as reports say Baltimore is finalizing a trade with the Arizona Cardinals for QB Jacoby Brissett.

Jaguars vs. Ravens Prediction: Jaguars -10
You know it has gotten bad for the Ravens starting a third-string undrafted rookie at QB, and they are double-digit underdogs at home. I don't see Fagnano revitalizing a Baltimore offense that has averaged only 11 PPG in its three-game skid. The Jags are balanced, playing well on both sides of the ball, and in a game that could get ugly, they will get the win and cover the big spread.
More Jaguars vs. Ravens Picks, Props and Best Bets
- Joe Fagnano 30+ pass attempts: (+100, BetMGM) – Fagnano had 21 pass attempts in the last game where he did not play the whole game. With the Ravens playing catch-up again, he will have to air it out often, especially in the second half, so he should get over 30 pass attempts.
- Zay Flowers 50+ receiving yards: (-120, BetMGM) – While he was held to no yards in the last game, he ranks eighth in the league in receiving yards and has 50+ receiving yards in every game this season, except the last one.
- Trevor Lawrence Over 1.5 passing TDs: (-125, FanDuel) – Laurence has the third most passing TDs and has passed for over 1.5 TDs in five of seven games, including in each of the last three, where he has totaled 9 TDs.
