The Eagles have been decimated by injuries, and they’ve also struggled to find success in 2026. They enter this game with a 2-4 record, owning a -31 point differential.

The Cowboys own wins over the Washington Commanders and Houston Texans. They’re coming off a bit of a skid, though, losing back-to-back games to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Green Bay Packers. Here are some trends for Dallas this week:
- The Cowboys are 2-4 straight up and 3-3 ATS this season.
- The Over is 4-2 in Dallas games.
- Dallas ranks 10th in the NFL in points per play (0.403).
- The Cowboys are fairly healthy entering this game.
The Cowboys’ offense has been inconsistent this season. They’ve recorded 30+ points in three of their six games, but they also failed to break 20 points in any of the other three. They’ve also only scored 29 points over their last two games.
Dallas’ defense has stepped up recently, holding Tampa Bay and Green Bay to only 47 combined points. The Bucs started a rookie quarterback, but holding the Packers to only 23 points deserves recognition.

Philadelphia Eagles Betting Trends
The Eagles started the season with back-to-back wins against the Washington Commanders and Tennessee Titans. Since then, they’ve lost games to the Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Rams, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Carolina Panthers. Here are some Philadelphia trends for this week:
- The Eagles are 2-4 straight up and 1-5 ATS this season.
- The Over is 3-3 in Philadelphia games.
- Philadelphia only saw two red-zone trips last week.
- The Eagles are one of the most injured teams in the NFL this season.
The Eagles have struggled with injuries throughout the season, and Tanner McKee is leading their offense. They scored only 14 points with him at quarterback against Carolina. Saquon Barkley will return, but they’ll be without starting wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks.
Philadelphia’s consistently been in close games this season, but that could change without Jalen Hurts at quarterback. The Eagles will need even more from their defense with so many offensive starters unavailable.

Cowboys vs. Eagles Prediction: Dallas Cowboys -4.5 Spread
The Dallas Cowboys -4.5 spread is my favorite Cowboys vs. Eagles prediction.
The Cowboys are the same team they’ve been since the start of last year. They feature a high-end offense with several weapons, while their defense continues to struggle. Their defense has taken steps forward, but they’re still near the bottom of the NFL.
I’m backing Dallas on the road in a tough divisional matchup because of injuries. The Eagles are one of the most injured teams in the NFL, and they have too many key injuries to overcome in this game.
Jalen Hurts was recently placed on injured reserve, leaving Tanner McKee to run the offense. Saquon Barkley is expected to return, but they’ll be without starting wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks. They’ll also miss Cam Jurgens (trade) and Lane Johnson (retired), who were starting offensive linemen in Week 1, although Landon Dickerson could return.
Best Bet: Dallas Cowboys -4.5 spread (-115 @ FanDuel Sportsbook)
More Cowboys vs. Eagles Picks, Props and Best Bets
Here are a few more Cowboys vs. Eagles betting angles to consider:
- Tanner McKee Over 195.5 Passing Yards (-114 @ FanDuel Sportsbook) - McKee has only started three games in his career, but he’s averaging 241.7 passing yards per game in those starts. Dallas features one of the worst defenses in the NFL, and McKee should see plenty of volume.
- CeeDee Lamb Over 78.5 Receiving Yards (-114 @ FanDuel Sportsbook) - Lamb has cooled off in recent games, but he’s averaging 96.2 receiving yards per game this season. The Eagles are giving up the fourth-most receiving yards (182.7) per game to opposing wide receivers. Lamb could see a few extra targets after back-to-back below-average games.
- Saquon Barkley Over 86.5 Rushing & Receiving Yards (-114 @ FanDuel Sportsbook) - Barkley is returning from a hamstring injury, but he’s expected to play major snaps after getting in a full practice. The Eagles offense should run through Barkley as their best player, and the Cowboys are giving up 128.5 total yards per game to running backs.
