Chiefs vs. Seahawks Prediction, Odds & Picks for Oct. 25: AJ Barner Shines

The Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Seattle Seahawks in an important Week 7 matchup. Our Chiefs vs. Seahawks prediction covers FanDuel odds, betting trends, injuries, and best bets for Sunday Night Football.
The Chiefs are one of three undefeated teams left in the NFL. They lead the AFC West with a 5-0 record, entering this game with a +57 point differential.
The Seahawks haven’t found the results they’re looking for through six games. They sit in second place in the NFC West with a 3-3 record. Although their record is only .500, they boast a +26 point differential this season.

The Chiefs have looked outstanding through five games, posting a perfect 5-0 record. They boast comfortable wins over the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins, and Los Angeles Chargers. They also own close wins over the Indianapolis Colts and Las Vegas Raiders. Here are some trends for Kansas City this week:
- The Chiefs are 5-0 straight up and 3-2 ATS this season.
- The Over is 2-3 in Kansas City games.
- Kansas City ranks second in points allowed (0.261) per play.
- Jaylon Moore and Rashee Rice have been ruled out, while L’Jarius Sneed is questionable.
Kansas City boasts an elite defense, but how much of that is because of their matchups? They’ve dominated weaker offenses, including Denver, Miami, and Los Angeles. They’ve also given up 27+ points to Indianapolis and Las Vegas.
The Chiefs’ offense runs through Kenneth Walker at this point, but Rashee Rice is still a major part of the passing game. They could struggle to consistently find points against an elite defense without their star receiver.

Seattle Seahawks Betting Trends
The Seahawks started the season with wins over the New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals before being upset by the Washington Commanders. They bounced back with a win over the Los Angeles Chargers, but they’ve now lost consecutive games to the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos. Here are some Seattle trends for this week:
- The Seahawks are 3-3 straight up and 1-4-1 ATS this season.
- The Over is 3-3 in Seattle games.
- Seattle’s averaging 0.077 more points per play at home than on the road.
- Drake Thomas has been ruled out, while DeMarcus Lawrence, Uchenna Nwosu, and Nick Emmanwori are questionable.
Seattle’s offense has taken a step back with Kenneth Walker in Kansas City. They haven’t found a consistent run game, but they still feature Jaxon Smith-Njigba as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. They’ll need others to step up with JSN if they want to give Kansas City their first loss.
One positive for the Seahawks’ injury situation is that all of their questionable players got in a limited practice on Friday. They could all be active for this high-stakes matchup.

Chiefs vs. Seahawks Prediction: AJ Barner Over 24.5 Receiving Yards
AJ Barner Over 24.5 receiving yards is my favorite Chiefs vs. Seahawks prediction.
Barner’s playing nearly 90% of the offensive snaps for Seattle this season. He didn’t have a big receiving role early in the season, though. His receiving involvement has increased in recent weeks, and it could continue to increase with the injury to Elijah Arroyo.
Barner recorded only three receptions for 21 yards on three targets in his first two games of the season. Since then, he’s recorded 12 receptions for 117 yards on 21 targets. His best game came against the Washington Commanders, where he posted five receptions for 69 yards on nine targets.
Kansas City has struggled against tight ends for years, and 2026 is no different. They’re giving up the sixth-most receiving yards (75.0) per game to the position this season. The Chiefs recently gave up 86 yards to Brock Bowers, 82 to Michael Mayer, and 32 to Ian Thomas in the same game. We also saw Greg Dulcich post 55 yards against them, while Evan Engram recorded 43.
Best Bet: AJ Barner Over 24.5 Receiving Yards (-114 @ FanDuel Sportsbook)
More Chiefs vs. Seahawks Picks, Props and Best Bets
Here are a few more Chiefs vs. Seahawks betting angles to consider:
- Tory Horton Over 11.5 Receiving Yards (-114 @ FanDuel Sportsbook) - Horton played a season-high 45.9% of the offensive snaps in Week 6. He only caught one pass, but he saw five targets. His role remains limited, but he can beat this number with one reception.
- Seattle Seahawks Over 22.5 Team Total (-113 @ FanDuel Sportsbook) - The Seahawks offense has been significantly better at home this season. Kansas City owns an elite defense, but that likely has more to do with their schedule than anything.
- Kenneth Walker Touchdown (-125 @ FanDuel Sportsbook) - I talked about Walker’s red-zone role in my NFL Touchdown Props article. He boasts elite usage at the goal line, and we’re getting a good price because of a tough matchup against Seattle.
