You’ve found my best Bears vs. Vikings prediction for Sunday’s NFC North showdown! For my NFL picks today, I’m looking at the game total, Colston Loveland touchdown props, and one hilariously long Vikings dart throw. Let’s dive into my favorite Bears-Vikings picks for Sept 20.

Bears vs. Vikings Prediction For Sunday, Sept. 20

I’m backing over 47.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook as my top Bears vs. Vikings prediction.

Both teams delivered a show in Week 1, although they reached it in very different ways. Chicago went full offensive buffet against Carolina. Caleb Williams was firing darts, and the Bears got exactly what they wanted from their backfield, with D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai both making things happen.

Minnesota had to take the scenic route against Green Bay. Kyler Murray departed after taking a hard hit and suffering a concussion, which left former MVP Carson Wentz to take over. Wentz did not just protect a lead or hand the ball off and hope the clock disappeared. He helped quarterback a wild comeback, and Minnesota walked out with a massive division win.

Now Wentz gets the call again while Murray remains unavailable, and that is obviously the part of this matchup that gives bettors pause. I get it. We are talking about a quarterback who was not supposed to be the focal point of Minnesota’s Week 2 plan suddenly taking on a Bears team that just dropped a crooked number.

But I don't need Wentz to morph into prime Carson Wentz for this total to get there. I need him to keep the Vikings functional and make enough plays to complement an offense that showed plenty of fight against Green Bay. Minnesota has weapons, and Chicago’s defense didn't do much last week to make me believe it is suddenly going to shut down a capable division opponent.

More importantly, Minnesota’s defense creates an environment that can produce points quickly for both sides.

Brian Flores dialed up pressure on roughly 75% of Green Bay’s dropbacks last week. That is an outrageous blitz rate. It is borderline psychotic behavior. It was also wildly entertaining.

Chicago knows the pressure is coming, but knowing it and handling it are two different things. Williams will have chances to take advantage of Minnesota if he identifies the matchup pre-snap, gets the ball out on time, and lets his receivers work against the one-on-one coverage that comes with an all-out blitz approach.

That is the double-edged sword of the Flores defense. It can wreck a game, produce sacks, force bad throws, and make an offense feel like it is playing underwater. It can also create massive splash-play opportunities when a blitz fails to get home.

And there is a world where Minnesota contributes plenty to the scoring too. The Bears simply need to remain the defense we saw against Carolina: a group that allowed too much, offered too little resistance, and put the offense in positions where it had to keep scoring.

This game has division-rivalry weirdness written all over it. Minnesota can bring heat. Chicago can score. Wentz can make enough plays to keep the Vikings involved. Give me the over in a contest that may feel chaotic long before the fourth quarter.

Bears vs. Vikings Player Props Today

For my favorite player prop in Vikings vs. Bears, I’m looking at rookie tight end Colston Loveland to score a touchdown. Loveland was almost invisible in the box score last week, which is honestly strange considering Chicago scored a billion points against Carolina.

The Vikings brought heat on around three out of every four Green Bay dropbacks in Week 1. Williams should expect a heavy dose of the same thing Sunday. When that happens, a tight end can go from forgotten piece to quarterback’s best friend in a hurry.

Loveland has the athletic ability to turn a quick outlet into a big play. He doesn't need 10 catches for this bet to make sense. He may only need one well-designed look near the goal line, one busted coverage, or one blitz where Williams has to find a safe answer before Minnesota gets home.

The red-zone usage is the real selling point. Loveland played eight of Chicago’s 10 offensive snaps inside the 10-yard line last week. That is not a guarantee of a touchdown, obviously, but it tells us he was on the field when the Bears were in the part of the field that matters most.

This next one isn't a normal bet. It's a tiny sprinkle, a silly little lottery ticket, and a bet designed for the part of your brain that remembers every time a random fullback catches a play-action touchdown from the 3-yard line.

Max Bredeson is +3500 to score an anytime touchdown and +12500 to score first on DraftKings.

Yes, Minnesota’s fullback.

Bredeson is primarily a blocker, and that is exactly why the market is hanging these huge numbers. He isn't going to walk into Soldier Field and suddenly command seven targets. But the usage near the goal line is worth knowing: Bredeson played every Vikings offensive snap inside the 10-yard line last week.

He also ran six routes, which has to count for something! Again, that does not make him a featured receiver. It does mean he is not strictly entering the game to stand next to the tackle and watch everyone else run a route.

Minnesota has shown it will put him on the field where a touchdown is most available, and a fullback with goal-line snaps always has at least a microscopic chance of being the guy nobody accounts for.

Picture it: Minnesota has first-and-goal, Chicago is expecting a handoff, and Wentz sells the run just long enough for Bredeson to leak into the flat. One easy catch later, somebody is holding a 35/1 ticket and acting like they saw it coming all week.

The chance is small, and the price is massive. Keep the stake tiny enough that it is fun, not reckless. And maybe we'll be the ones holding the ticket!
