After a pair of blockbuster deals Monday, the news around the NFL was more muted Tuesday. With that said, there were some moves that took place that are worth noting. We had a little bit of everything when it comes to contracts. There was a pair of new deals hammered out, keeping a player with a franchise for the foreseeable future. In addition, there was a trio of signings of free agents by a new team.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at what unfolded amidst the chaos of the Myles Garrett and A.J. Brown deals.

Herbig, Steelers Ink New Deal

Nick Herbig was entering the final year of his rookie deal with the Steelers this season. The fourth -round selection in the 2023 draft out of Wisconsin turned in his best season in 2025. Herbig picked up 30 tackles (21 solo) with 7.5 sacks last year. He added 18 QB hits, 13 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, an interception and a fumble recovery for a score. In addition, he had three pass defenses in 15 games, six of which were starts.

On Tuesday, the Steelers and Herbig hammered out an extension to his contract. He signed a four-year deal worth $100 million with $42 million guaranteed. Herbig is now under contract through the 2030 season and hopes to be a Steeler for life. How the deal may affect extensions with Joey Porter Jr. or Darnell Washington remains to be seen. One thing we know is that the Steelers have a ton of cash tied up in T.J. Watt, Alex Highsmith and Herbig going forward.

London, Falcons Extend Deal

One thing the Falcons have, despite their struggles, is plenty of offensive talent. Atlanta boasts the explosive Bijan Robinson at running back, Kyle Pitts at tight end and Drake London at wide receiver. On Tuesday, the Falcons inked London to a four-year extension worth $141 million, of which $100 million is guaranteed. The average value ($35.25 million) on his new deal makes him the third-highest paid receiver in the league, trailing only Jaxon Smith-Njigba of the Seahawks and Ja’Marr Chase of the Bengals.

Last season, London caught 68 passes for 919 yards and seven scores. He missed five games with a PCL sprain in his left knee. London plays this season on his fifth-year option of his rookie deal and is under contract through the 2030 season.

Giants and OBJ: Reunited and It Feels So Good?

It seems like an eternity ago when it was a matter of when, not if, Odell Beckham Jr. would end up in Canton. He went over 1,300 yards in each of his first three seasons and eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark in five of his first six years. After that, injuries and inconsistency saw his production fall off a cliff. Since his last 1000-yard campaign with the Browns in 2019, the numbers are brutal. He’s played for Cleveland, the Rams, the Ravens and the Dolphins. Beckham Jr. didn’t play in 2022 or 2025 yet the Giants signed him to a deal.

Over the last six years, Beckham has totaled 111 catches for 1,476 yards and 11 scores. At 33 and turning 34 in November, it remains to be seen what he has left in the tank. It would at least give a veteran presence for Jaxson Dart, provided he can stay healthy. In addition, the Giants inked JuJu Smith-Schuster   and Braxton Berrios to one-year deals. Smith-Schuster caught 33 passes for 345 yards and a score in 17 games (12 starts) last year for the Chiefs. Berrios played just four games for Houston last year, catching six passes for 37 yards. If nothing else, it gives the Giants some depth pieces that could provide experience at the bottom of the depth chart. They could pay dividends if Malik Nabers is slow recovering or other injuries pop up during the year.
