We have all the hot news for the NFL preseason as the training camps kick into gear. Can Seattle build on their dominance with returning starters?

Cowboys test perfect for Seattle to shine

The big NFL clash on August 16 is the Seahawks on the road at the Dallas Cowboys. The game closes Week 1 of preseason, and it’s the ideal time for Seattle to show why they’ve built on their Super Bowl win.

The Seahawks offensive line was part of the reason they won in February. With all five starters returning, that line is even stronger. The –184 best odds on the moneyline at FanDuel represents the smart play.

Cowboys extend Williams deal

Speaking of the Cowboys, they go into preseason with a happy handshake for Quinnen Williams, who has extended his contract, according to ESPN.

The extension is worth $105.9 million ($101 million of it guaranteed) – every penny of it worth it following a stellar last season. The contract extension isn’t enough to change the Cowboys’ underdog tag on the betting sites in their preseason Game 1 clash against the Seahawks, however.

Atlanta sign Sermon, Broncos’ injury woes

Atlanta Falcons have bolstered their running back roster with the signing of Trey Sermon. As the RB comes in, roster cuts, Jack Nelson and Philip Florenzo go the other way.

Meanwhile, Denver Broncos recorded a list of training camp injuries, including RB J.K. Robbins and WR Jaylen Waddle.

Waddle was the major acquisition in the offseason and should be an excellent addition should he overcome his recent muscle strain.

It could be worse, as seen at Detroit, where a wrist injury has sidelined Cade Mays in practice. The freak injury comes just after Mays signed a $25 million deal with the Lions.

We’ll have more hot news on the big sports in the coming days.
