When using the odds table, click the dropdown menu and select the type of bet you wish to make.
Betting the point spread is when you wager on how many points a team will win or lose by. A plus sign in front of the spread denotes the underdog, and a minus sign denotes the favorite.
In this case, the 49ers would have to win by at least 10 points if you bet them to cover the point spread (-9.5). A spread bet on the Seahawks would win if they win the game or lose by fewer than 10.
Betting the moneyline is simply betting on which particular team will win a game.
The betting total is the number of combined points the two teams will score. Bettors can choose to bet the over or under on how many total points will be scored in the game.

Seahawks At 49ers Betting Insights
Why The Seahawks Can Cover The Spread
Ten is an awfully big chunk of points. And the impending potentially bad weather could depress offense all around, even if the Seahawks are hurt a bit more by the rainy conditions due to their reliance on Geno Smith and the passing offense. It’s just tough to cover 10 points in a game where overall scoring is struggling to reach 40. Plus, the Seahawks have had two games to see what doesn’t work against this Niners defense, even as teams like the Raiders have had success. Perhaps they can make the adjustments needed.
Why The 49ers Can Cover The Spread
Well, they completely dominated the Seahawks twice this year, winning two meetings by a combined 48-20. And the 21-13 road win probably understates things, since the Niners had a 6.2 to 4.5 edge in YPP. The biggest key by far has been dominating up front against the Seattle offensive line. The Niners pressured Smith on an absurd 43.8% of dropbacks in Week 2 and 35.4% in Week 15. There’s no indication the Hawks have the personnel to fix this issue.
Reasons To Bet The Over
If the Seahawks can sort out a way to slow down this 49ers pass rush, either via getting some misdirection stuff going or working their quicker passing game, then this game will go over. Because the Seahawks defense just isn’t good at all. The 49ers demolished them up front with their rushing attack in both meetings, going for 170+ yards in both games. They should get theirs on offense.
Reasons To Bet The Under
The weather, for starters. Potentially torrential rain is coming this weekend, the type of storms that have left half a million without power on the West Coast. If this game gets bogged down into a rock fight where nobody can reliably pass the ball, we might not see 30 points scored. Furthermore, the Seahawks just have not solved this Niners defense at all, so they’ll need to come up with some new ideas here.
Seahawks At 49ers Matchups To Watch For
Seahawks OL Vs. 49ers Pass Rush
The 49ers have a beatable group of defensive backs. Other than standout safety Talanoa Hufanga, the only solid coverage player is Charvarius Ward. The key will be giving Geno Smith and his two stellar WRs time to attack this group. The Seahawks don’t need to dominate up front, they just need to hold their own, and Smith, Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf can do some damage here.
49ers OL Vs. Seahawks Run D
Again, the Seahawks just need to hold their own here and put some pressure on first-year QB Brock Purdy to produce. If he’s just handing off all day, being a rookie starter in his first playoff game won’t produce much anxiety. The Hawks must avoid being roadkill for this 49ers rushing attack as they were in the first two meetings. Christian McCaffrey would likely be the biggest beneficiary of this, but Elijah Mitchell also returned from injury in the final game and may factor in.
George Kittle Vs. Seahawks Coverage
No team allowed more fantasy points to TEs than the Seahawks. Additionally, DVOA was unimpressed with their coverage in this area, ranking them 27th in the NFL. Kittle himself ran rampant in the Week 15 meeting for 93 yards and 2 TDs. He finished the season on a bit of a tear with at least four catches in five straight games, going for seven scores in that time.
The 49ers have been a playoff powerhouse in recent seasons, very nearly making two Super Bowls and looking dominant through the NFC playoffs for much of that time. However, the ascent of Brock Purdy throws a major wild card into the mix, no pun intended. Quarterbacks who haven’t started a playoff game can sometimes look overwhelmed by their first such experience. We’ve seen subsequently productive QBs like Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson look completely lost in their debuts. Luckily for Purdy, he has an elite ecosystem around to guide him.
And the 49ers have been dominant over the Hawks on the defensive side of the ball. Geno Smith got basically nothing going in two meetings.
Still, between the Purdy question mark and the potential for bad weather to muck things up, laying double digits looks a bit high in this spot. Perhaps that’s why the market has begun to move on the Seahawks as of Tuesday morning and afternoon. The +10s have started to come off the board, so if you can’t get the good number, it may be best to look for props that reflect your expectations here.
Best of luck betting on Seahawks 49ers odds.
