NFL player props have become a popular wagering option for football fans. They are so popular that some books are seeing more tickets on a player prop than spread bets for his team. Each week at TheLines, we break down some prop betting options from our popular YouTube show Coast 2 Coast with Josh Lander, Nate Weitzer and Mo Nuwwarah. Aaron Rodgers Player Prop: Over 241.5 Passing Yards (-110)

  • Best available line: O/U / ()

The Packers just lost consecutive games for the first time under Matt LaFleur and they have an easy get right spot at Washington this week. The Commanders offense should take a step forward in terms of pace and production with Taylor Heinicke stepping in for Carson Wentz (finger), leading to more of a free-flowing game.

Clearly, Green Bay’s run-first and run-second offense isn’t working, as it has produced just 10 points over their past six quarters. Rodgers is still averaging 241.6 passing YPG over his last five starts despite the Packers posting a 42% rush-play rate in that span.

Washington is giving up a healthy 7.0 yards per pass with a youthful secondary. Rodgers completed 77% of his passes for 274 yards and 3 TDs when he faced Washington’s defense last season. The four-time MVP is too talented to lose a third-straight game, regardless of the talent and experience of his receiving corps.
