Here is a look at NFL Week 6 odds in full.
San Francisco 49ers (-3.5) at Seattle Seahawks (+3.5)
The 49ers covered the -3.5 spread with a 36-24 victory over the Seahawks. San Francisco is now 3-3 against the spread this season. The Seahawks are 1-4-1 ATS this season.
Jacksonville Jaguars (+2.5) at Chicago Bears (-2.5)
The Jaguars got a season-best performance from Trevor Lawrence on his birthday to record their first win of the season. Jacksonville beat the Colts by a 37-34 score. The Jags may also be in the midst of swapping lead backs heading into this London matchup after Tank Bigsby outperformed Travis Etienne again.
Chicago handled its business against an inferior opponent at home. Chicago knocked off the Panthers by a 36-10 score in Caleb Williams’ best game yet. The rookie first overall pick appears to be improving by the week. D’Andre Swift also seems to have found his groove in Chicago’s offense after a poor start to his tenure. NFL Week 6 odds show that the total for this game opened at 43.5 points.
“The Jags have experience (playing in London) and the Bears have a pretty young team. So you would think there would be a little advantage there,” BetMGM’s Christian Cipollini told TheLines. “But we’ve seen the opposite so far. We were at -1.5 a few weeks ago and then now up to -2.5. The early action, which tends to be more sharp action, tends to be on the Bears. I’m a little bit shocked by that.”
Houston Texans (-7) at New England Patriots (+7)
The Texans got plenty of trouble from a visiting Bills team that was without Khalil Shakir (ankle) and also lost Nico Collins following a long touchdown catch on which he sustained a hamstring injury. However, Houston managed to escape with a 23-20 win while holding Josh Allen to only nine completions on 30 attempts. The Patriots came close to securing their second victory against the visiting Dolphins but ultimately came up short by a 15-10 score. Rhamondre Stevenson began the game demoted to the No. 2 running back role but had taken the lead job back by game’s end. The Pats may get a jolt on offense this Sunday as they plan on starting rookie QB Drake Maye. The betting over under for this game opened at 38 points.
Washington Commanders (+6.5) at Baltimore Ravens (-6.5)
The Commanders moved to a surprising 4-1 with a win over the Browns at home. Jayden Daniels put together another stellar effort with 320 total yards and a passing TD while capitalizing on more freedom to attack downfield. The Ravens survived a topsy-turvy trip to Cincinnati. They upended the Bengals in the first AFC North matchup of the season by a 41-38 score in OT. Lamar Jackson had his best game as a passer with 348 yards and four touchdowns. He added 55 rushing yards. The total for WAS vs. BAL opened at 52 points.
Indianapolis Colts (-1) at Tennessee Titans (+1)
The Colts’ defensive deficiencies were on full display this past Sunday. Indy dropped a 37-34 decision to the Jaguars in Joe Flacco’s first start for the team. The status’ of Anthony Richardson (hip/oblique) and Jonathan Taylor (ankle) will be something to monitor this week. Tennessee was on bye following an impressive road victory over the Dolphins. Will Levis exited that game with an AC joint sprain and could be listed as questionable headed into this divisional matchup. The total for this game opened at 42.5 points.
Cleveland Browns (+9) at Philadelphia Eagles (-9)
The Browns’ dismal season on both sides of the ball continued Sunday. Cleveland couldn’t contain the red-hot Jayden Daniels and the Commanders in a 34-13 loss. Deshaun Watson had yet another sub-200-yard passing game and could be on the verge of being replaced by Jameis Winston. The Eagles were trying to sort through their own troubles in their bye. However, they could get some major reinforcements if both A.J. Brown (hamstring) and DeVonta Smith (concussion) are able to make their returns from injury. NFL Week 6 odds show that the betting over under for Browns versus Eagles opened at 44 points.
Arizona Cardinals (+5.5) at Green Bay Packers (-5.5)
The Cardinals didn’t give up the fight this past Sunday and saw it pay off. They toppled the 49ers on the road by a 24-23 score. Green Bay was able to prevail in a hard-fought road matchup itself despite missing two starting receivers. They got past the Rams by a 24-19 score. The total for the game opened at 50 points.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3.5) at New Orleans (+3.5)
The Buccaneers suffered a heartbreaking Thursday night loss to the Falcons. Tampa dropped a 36-30 OT decision on the road despite another efficient effort from Baker Mayfield. The Saints face off with the Chiefs on Monday night at Arrowhead and will try to stave off a third consecutive loss after exceeding expectations over the first two games. The total for this game opened at 45.5 points.
“This line was all the way up to Saints -3 as of last week,” BetMGM’s Christian Cipollini told TheLines. “The way it’s flipped it looks like Carr is worth about 6 points. We’ve gone all the way to Bucs -3.5.”
LA Chargers (-3) at Denver Broncos (+3)
The Chargers were on a bye after two consecutive losses during which they only scored 10 points apiece. Justin Herbert should be much healthier for this matchup after having to play through an ankle sprain the last two games.
The surprising Broncos moved to 3-2 with their third straight win. They dominated the Raiders by a 34-18 score with strong performances from rookie QB Bo Nix and their impressive defense. The total for the game opened at 36.5 points.
Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5) at Las Vegas Raiders (+3.5)
The Steelers dropped their second straight game after a 3-0 start. They lost a hard-fought 20-17 battle to the Cowboys on Sunday night by giving up a last-second touchdown pass. Justin Fields continued to start over Russell Wilson but regressed after two strong passing performances. The Raiders are now 2-3 after taking a 34-18 drubbing from the Broncos. Gardner Minshew was replaced at quarterback by Aidan O’Connell after a pair of interceptions, including a pick-six. Las Vegas’ Davante Adams is expected to be healthy after two absences due to a hamstring injury but is likely to be traded in the coming days. The initial total for this game was 37 points.
Detroit Lions (-3) at Dallas Cowboys (-3)
The Lions are on a bye after recording a spirited 42-29 Monday night win over the Seahawks. Detroit is 3-1 and will have a significant rest advantage and healthy squad for this matchup. The Cowboys passed a tough road assignment Sunday night against the Steelers that put them over .500. Dallas’ offense still struggled to score points. However, Rico Dowdle appeared to fully establish himself as the lead back over Ezekiel Elliott with 114 total yards and a receiving TD. The total for this game opened at 52.5 points.
Atlanta Falcons (-6) at Carolina Panthers (+6)
The Falcons opened the slate with a thrilling 36-30 overtime home win over the Buccaneers. Kirk Cousins threw for 509 yards and four touchdowns while facilitating 100-yard performances for Drake London and Darnell Mooney. The Panthers continued to lose some of the momentum from the recent switch to Andy Dalton at quarterback. Carolina was overmatched on the road against the Bears and took a 36-10 loss. Bryce Young replaced Dalton for the final drive but is slated to remain in the No. 2 role for this divisional clash, per head coach Dave Canales. The over under for this game opened at 47.5 points.
Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5) at New York Giants (+3.5)
The Bengals tangled with the Ravens in what may have been the most exciting game of the season thus far. Cincinnati ended up on the wrong end of a 41-38 score in overtime. Joe Burrow threw for 392 yards and five touchdowns but had harsh words for the team as following their fall to 1-4. The Giants mustered a confidence-building 29-20 road win over the Seahawks. New York overcame heavy underdog status that was largely the byproduct of being without the services of standout rookie Malik Nabers (concussion) and starting RB Devin Singletary (groin). The total for this game opened at 48.5 points.
Buffalo Bills (-3) at New York Jets (+3)
New York parted ways with Robert Saleh this week and Jeff Ulbrich will take over for New York. The Bills took a second straight loss with a 23-20 defeat at the hands of the Texans. Buffalo put up a valiant second-half effort despite playing without Khalil Shakir (ankle). However, Josh Allen completed only 30.0 percent of his passes for 131 yards and also took a big hit that led to him being checked for a concussion. The Jets took a second straight loss this past Sunday. They fell to the Vikings by a 23-17 score in London. Aaron Rodgers also suffered a low-ankle sprain during the defeat and Breece Hall continued to struggle to find running room (nine carries, 23 yards). The total for this game opened at 41.5 points.
