NFL Week 4 odds

The month of September in the NFL will close out with a bang today and tomorrow. NFL Week 4 odds are currently available to bet on at the top sportsbooks. Some of the top games for Week 4 include the Philadelphia Eagles (-1.5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+1.5) and the Kansas City Chiefs (-7) at LA Chargers (+7). Bills (+2.5) at Ravens (-2.5) is another great game on the slate. Find the point spread, moneyline and total for those games and more below.

NFL Week 4 odds

There are NFL Week 4 odds available to bet on now. The point spread, moneyline and total for every Week 4 pro football game appears below.

Here are some of the biggest NFL Week 4 point spreads of the week, all of which are popular survivor pool targets.

  • Jacksonville Jaguars (+6.5) at Houston Texans (-6.5)
  • Denver Broncos (+7.5) at New York Jets (-7.5)
  • New England Patriots (+10.5) at San Francisco 49ers (-10.5)
  • Kansas City Chiefs (-7.5) at LA Chargers (+7.5)

Here is a look at all of the NFL Week odds with analysis of each game.

Dallas Cowboys (-5.5) at New York Giants (+5.5)

The Giants are now 2-2 against the spread this season after barely covering on a +5.5 closing line. Dallas came away with a 20-15 victory. The game went under the 45.0 total. New York has now gone under the total in all four games this season.

Pittsburgh Steelers (-1.5) at Indianapolis Colts (+1.5)

The Steelers notched a third consecutive win in as many games with Justin Fields at the helm, as they disposed of the Chargers by a 20-10 score. Fields had his best game as a passer yet (245 yards, one TD) and also added a rushing score.

Indy managed to hold off the Bears and a prolific Caleb Williams, but the Colts still have plenty of question marks on defense. Richardson is also struggling with efficiency, completing only 49.3 percent of his passes and mustering a 3:6 TD:INT.

The Colts survived the visiting Bears, who mounted a late comeback but couldn’t quite get on the other side of a 21-16 score. The total for PIT vs. IND opened at 40 points.

Minnesota Vikings (+2.5) at Green Bay Packers (-2.5)

The Vikings moved to 3-0 with an impressive 34-7 thumping of the visiting Texans despite still missing Jordan Addison (ankle). Sam Darnold is playing like the quarterback the Jets thought they were getting when investing the third overall pick in him six years ago.

The Packers got a second consecutive efficient start from Malik Willis, and in the process, a second straight victory in the form of a 30-14 thumping of the Titans. Jordan Love (knee) was able to practice on a limited basis for all three days last week and is expected to return for this matchup. NFL Week 4 odds show that the total for this game opened at 44.5 points.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+7) at Houston Texans (-7)

The Jaguars were thumped by the Bills on Monday night. This line moved from Jags +4.5 to Jags +7 as a result.

The Texans saw their bubble burst by the Vikings on the road, 34-7, as C.J. Stroud and his arsenal of weapons were mostly neutralized by Brian Flores’ aggressive defense. Houston will hope to get Joe Mixon back from his hip injury for this game. The over under for this game opened at 45 points.

New Orleans Saints (+1.5) at Atlanta Falcons (-1.5)

The Saints appeared on their way to 3-0 and were on track to achieve their latest victory via their defense, but the Eagles’ Jalen Hurts led a short-handed offense to a 15-12 comeback victory. After looking like one of the league’s best through two weeks, Derek Carr regressed considerably.

The Falcons played a second straight tough primetime home game but couldn’t quite mount a successful comeback this time around, falling to the Chiefs by a 22-17 score Sunday night. Kirk Cousins doesn’t yet look all the way back from last year’s Achilles injury, and he figures to be under duress versus an aggressive New Orleans attack. The over under for NO vs. ATL is currently around 42.5 at most sportsbooks.

“This game has had some of the most line movement in terms of the pre-season numbers and this past week,” BetMGM’s Christian Cipollini told TheLines’ Eli Hershkovich on the Behind The Lines podcast. “As of a few days ago this total was at 45.5. So we’re already down three points from where that was. A lot of that stems from last week. A lot of people didn’t expect the Eagles – Saints game to be such a low-scoring game.”

LA Rams (+1.5) at Chicago Bears (-1.5)

The Rams turned in quite a gutsy performance with a short-handed receiver corps, coming back from two 14-point deficits to squeak by the 49ers, 27-24. Matthew Stafford has a game group of skill-position players around him, but a road battle against a tough Bears defense with a group of reserve pass catchers is going to be a tough task.

The Bears’ Caleb Williams’ 363 passing yards weren’t enough to top Anthony Richardson and the Colts, moving the Bears to 1-2. Rome Odunze did record his first 100-yard game as a pro and Cole Kmet (10-97-1) re-emerged after two quiet weeks to start the season, but Chicago’s running game continues to be virtually non-existent. The total for this game opened at 41.5 points.

Buffalo Bills (+2.5) at Baltimore Ravens (-2.5)

The Bills shredded the Jaguars on Monday night but are in an underdog spot here.

The Ravens went into Dallas last weekend and avoided an 0-3 start by notching a 28-25 victory, with Baltimore holding off a late Cowboys rally. Derrick Henry put together a vintage performance with 151 rushing yards and two touchdowns, but Lamar Jackson (182 passing yards, one TD) continues to underwhelm. NFL Week 4 odds initially had the total at 45.5.

Cincinnati Bengals (-4.5) at Carolina Panthers (+4.5)

The Bengals are desperate at 0-3 and are fortunate to get a nice landing spot with the Panthers.

Carolina looked like a completely different team under Andy Dalton, however, with the veteran QB tossing three TDs as part of a 319-yard effort in a win over the Raiders. Chuba Hubbard also flashed true three-down skills (169 total yards, one receiving TD), as the offense appeared downright dangerous. The total for the game opened at 47.5 points.

Denver Broncos (+7.5) at New York Jets (-7.5)

The Broncos went down to Tampa Bay and shocked the Bucs by a 26-7 score last weekend. Bo Nix suddenly looked like a seasoned NFL quarterback after a rough first two pro games, accruing 263 total yards and a rushing TD. Denver still has plenty of running game concerns, however, and a one-dimensional offense is a bad recipe against the Jets defense.

New York opened last week by dominating the Patriots in a TNF matchup, and Aaron Rodgers continued to look like his old self with a 281-yard, two-touchdown tally. The Jets may have also found an effective complement to Breece Hall in rookie Braelon Allen (68 total yards). The total for the game opened at 38.5 points.

Washington Commanders (+3.5) at Arizona Cardinals (-3.5)

The Commanders were +5 underdogs to the Cardinals on the Week 4 lookahead line but the number is now +3.5 thanks to their strong showing against Cincinnati.

The Cardinals played tough once again last week but came up short, falling to the Lions by a 20-13 score. Kyler Murray and Marvin Harrison connected for another TD, but with Detroit completely shutting down James Conner (nine carries, 17 yards), the passing game didn’t have enough. This game opened at 49.5 points.

Philadelphia Eagles (-2.5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+2.5)

The Eagles survived multiple key injuries to escape New Orleans with a 15-12 win. Philly’s victory was highlighted by a spectacular effort from Saquon Barkley. However, Philadelphia now has to hope at least one of A.J. Brown (hamstring) or DeVonta Smith (concussion) can return for this tough road matchup.

The Buccaneers were surprisingly embarrassed at home by the visiting Broncos, 26-7, as Baker Mayfield took seven sacks. Tampa Bay’s defense, which did play without Vita Vea (knee) and Antoine Winfield (foot), is a concern after allowing 263 total yards and a rushing TD to Bo Nix. NFL Week 4 odds show that the total for PHI vs. TB opened at 46.5 points.

Cleveland Browns (-1.5) at Las Vegas Raiders (+1.5)

The Browns blew a seemingly golden opportunity for a win at home against the Giants. Cleveland lost in a 21-15 decision. Deshaun Watson opened the game by hitting Amari Cooper for a 24-yard touchdown, but he ultimately threw for a modest 196 yards at 5.3 yards per attempt and took eight sacks.

The Raiders fell flat in front of their fans as well. Las Vegas fell to the Andy Dalton-led Panthers by a 36-22 score. Head coach Antonio Pierce was left seething by his team’s defensive performance, which saw them give up 437 total yards. The total for the game opened at 39.5 points.

Kansas City Chiefs (-7.5) at LA Chargers (+7.5)

NFL Week 4 odds update: Justin Herbert suffered a high ankle sprain in last week’s loss to the Steelers. The Chargers QB did practice on Wednesday of this week but was limited. To make matters worse for Jim Harbaugh, left tackle Rashawn Slater (pectoral) and right tackle Joe Alt (knee) are not expected to play against the Chiefs. Joey Bosa (hip) also did not practice Wednesday. The total for the game has opened at 40 points.

The Chiefs, meanwhile, were able to benefit from some questionable play calling by the Falcons late Sunday night to escape Atlanta with a 22-17 victory in Kansas City’s first game without Isiah Pacheco (leg).

New England Patriots (+10.5) at San Francisco 49ers (-10.5)

There have not been many point spreads that have cracked double-digits so far this season but New England opened as a +10.5 underdog against the 49ers. With the Giants and Panthers winning on Sunday, the Pats are back in the conversation for worst team in the NFL. Jerod Mayo’s crew was blasted by the Jets last week, 24-3. Brock Purdy and the 49ers are on a two-game skid but this has all the earmarks of a “get-right game.” The total for SF vs. NE opened at 40 points.

Tennessee Titans (+1) at Miami Dolphins (-1)

The Titans are sticking with Will Levis despite a 30-14 loss to the Packers on Sunday that dropped Tennessee to 0-3. Tony Pollard was not able to lend much of a hand as he was held to 14 rushing yards on six carries.

The Dolphins have one more win than Tennessee but probably feel like they’re 0-3. considering they may be down to either Tyler Huntley or Tim Boyle at quarterback for this matchup after Skylar Thompson suffered a rib injury in a 24-3 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday. The total for the game opened at 37 points.

Seattle Seahawks (+4.5) at Detroit Lions (-4.5)

The Seahawks’ defense looked dominant once again as Seattle moved to 3-0 with a 24-3 win over the Dolphins. Geno Smith had his most productive game yet in Ryan Grubb’s offense with 289 passing yards.

The Lions were able to escape Arizona with a 20-13 win that saw Detroit fueled by a ground attack that gained 187 rushing yards and a touchdown. The Lions are now 2-1, but each game has been a struggle thus far for Dan Campbell’s squad and this matchup may not be any different. The total for the game has opened at 47.5 points.
