Best NFL Week 2 DFS Games, Stacks, Lineup Picks To Target | Daily Fantasy Football

Week 1 in the NFL saw an increase in turnovers and penalties and a decrease in scoring. Without players like Brandon Ayiuk and Tyreek Hill, your DFS lineup was likely hapless. While the Dolphins at Chargers – last Sunday’s highest over/under – delivered as promised, the Bengals at Browns fell entirely flat. For NFL Week 2, two games offer point totals at or over 50 for your DFS considerations. The Seattle Seahawks at Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs at Jacksonville Jaguars appear to be our top prospects.
As you begin to build your DFS lineups for the week, I recommend first looking at over/unders. NFL Week 2 odds can help nudge you in the direction of high-scoring affairs, which is exactly what you want in your DFS lineups.

NFL Week 2 DFS Games To Target

Seattle Seahawks at Detroit Lions (O/U )
For real-world NFL practices, both of these teams’ defenses are liabilities to wins. But for DFS and fantasy purposes, they’re a treasure trove of options. This matchup should be cleaned out for all its worth with cheaper stack options like Geno Smith and Tyler Lockett, and Jared Goff and Josh Reynolds. Both backfields also provide some interesting considerations, namely David Montgomery and Zach Charbonnet.
Keep an eye on the status of Jamal Adams and Devon Witherspoon, who both missed the season opener. Should either or both return to his game, that creates a bigger issue for the Lions’ offense.
Kansas City Chiefs at Jacksonville Jaguars (O/U )
Without Travis Kelce in the lineup, the Chiefs’ offense was a mess. Patrick Mahomes turned to alternative options like Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore, who dropped multiple passes and tanked KC’s chance at going 1-0. According to a CBS report, the Chiefs are “optimistic” that Kelce returns for Week 2.
Calvin Ridley burst onto the scene as the evident No. 1 target for Trevor Lawrence, who targeted him four times in their opening drive, including once for a touchdown. The Chiefs’ secondary allowed 151 combined receiving yards to Josh Reynolds and Amon-Ra St. Brown in Week 1. With perhaps a preview of an AFC Playoff matchup (and a rubber match from last year’s postseason), this game has the potential to be a back-and-forth, high-scoring affair rife with value and star DFS options.
Alternative Game To Target For NFL Week 2 DFS
Cooper Kupp will miss the first month of the season on the IR. Instead of the Rams’ offense completely imploding (like we saw last year), Matthew Stafford found a new favorite target: rookie Puka Nacua. Cam Akers received plenty of work around the goal line, although this week offers a much more daunting defensive test. The 49ers came out with DFS gold, producing a two-touchdown Brandon Ayuik and the week’s top running back in Christian McCaffrey.
There’s such a bevy of lower-priced fantasy options in this game (like Tyler Higbee, Tutu Atwell, or Brock Purdy) that it should not be ignored because of its low over/under.
NFL Week 2 DFS Games To Avoid
Las Vegas Raiders at Buffalo Bills (O/U )
This doesn’t mean that players from the Bills are a bad choice, or that Davante Adams and Josh Jacobs should be off-limits this weekend. But not all high-total games are built the same. While this matchup has a favorable point total, the Bills are favored by , giving the Raiders just 18.75 implied team points. For a reference point, that’s nearly equivalent to the Commanders’ implied team points against the Broncos (18.5) – a game with a 40.5 over/under.
Using select players from this game like Josh Allen or Stefon Diggs is a good idea, depending on your build. But I’m not targeting both sides of this matchup with playback stacks.

Games With Totals At Or Under 40
Not that many popular DFS options are out the window here, but these two games have point totals under 40 and are best off avoided this week:
- Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans (O/U )
- New York Giants at Arizona Cardinals (O/U )
- Washington Commanders at Denver Broncos (O/U )
