Week 15 wraps up at Lambeau Field, with the Los Angeles Rams (4-9) heading into Green Bay to play the Packers (5-8). Rams vs. Packers odds have Green Bay as a spread favorite with Los Angeles to win the game on the moneyline. The total is .

With Green Bay not technically eliminated and off a bye week, the Pack is still going to be pushing on, while the Rams are just trying to avoid any more injuries, making Monday Night Football less important to the playoff picture than expected.

Rams vs. Packers Betting Insights

Reasons The Rams Can Cover The Spread

The Rams defense isn’t quite as bad as their offense – it’s still 14th by DVOA, 16th by EPA allowed, and 5th by PFF – which could stymie the Packers. If they can stop the Packers’ rushing attack and force Green Bay into throwing – which they couldn’t do against the Raiders but have the 5th best Rush DVOA – then they should be able to get stops against Rodgers.

If they can do that, maybe whatever offensive flow Baker Mayfield found in the 4th Quarter last week can continue, and the Rams can cover this number.

Why The Packers can cover the spread

The Packers somehow have managed to keep their offense to a top half of the league status by DVOA despite how inconsistent it can look. With the running game opportunities highlighted by the Raiders, Green Bay should be able to dominate the clock, control field position, and run all over the Rams.

If that’s true, the Packers should be able to score enough, especially with their 6th-best ranking on Early Down EPA. They don’t get behind schedule and that should be enough against the Rams.

Reasons to bet the over

The Rams defense needs to step up with a defensive touchdown or the Packers need to connect on an early deep shot to speed this game up if the Over is going to come in.

Reasons to bet the under

Because the Packers will want to run the ball and their porous run defense will force LA into a run heavy script, there’s little to suggest this won’t be a slow, low play game.

Rams vs. Packers Props: Matchups To Watch For

AJ Dillon Rushing Yards: Green Bay should try and do everything in their power to run the ball as much as possible in this game. With the success on the ground Las Vegas had last week, the Packers will go into this game with the same mindset. Dillon’s had more yards the last two weeks, and seems to be asserting himself more as the rushing back, which should propel him here this week.

Final Thoughts

The Rams are tanking even without their first round pick, and that’s really all this game has.

The Rams had no business winning last week, but because the Raiders aren’t any good they were allowed back in. It’s possible that Green Bay could let them hang around in the same way, but it’s unlikely that Aaron Rodgers will let the offense sputter in the Red Zone as much as the Raiders did. And for that reason, the Packers should cover.

Green Bay isn’t good – that’s not the claim. They have a ton of questions, including whether or not blowing this up is the move. But off a bye week and hopefully a slightly less injured Rodgers on the field, Green Bay should score. And with how useless the Rams’ offense has been under all 4 of their QBs this year, that should be enough.
