NFL Week 13 Cowboys vs Chiefs: Parlay Picks & Player Props in Thanksgiving Clash

The greatest football holiday of them all, Thanksgiving, is finally here, with three games to decorate the Thursday NFL slate. The 5-5-1 Dallas Cowboys will host the 6-5 Kansas City Chiefs in the afternoon game, as both teams look to crawl back into the postseason hunt.
The Cowboys have hosted on Thanksgiving every year since 1966 (aside from 1975 and 1977), which is part of the reason why they are known as "America's Team". Dallas is 34-22-1 all-time on Thanksgiving and are currently on a three-game Thanksgiving winning streak.
The Kansas City Chiefs, meanwhile, are 5-5 on Turkey Day all-time, last having played on Thanksgiving in 2006.
Chiefs vs Cowboys
The Kansas City Chiefs possibly saved their season last week, coming back from a 20-9 fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Indianapolis Colts 23-20 in overtime. They are now just one game behind the 7-4 Buffalo Bills for the final playoff spot in the AFC.
The Dallas Cowboys also pulled off a miraculous comeback against the Philadelphia Eagles, coming back from 21-0 down to win 24-21 to get back to .500. Amazingly, due to the NFC being extremely top-heavy, they are 2.5 games behind the 8-4 San Francisco 49ers for the final playoff spot.
Back in May, announcer Jim Nantz predicted that this would be one of the most-watched regular-season football games of all time. With the two teams in precarious playoff positions, we can comfortably say that he's probably predicted the future.
Chiefs Injury Updates
On Wednesday, head coach Andy Reid announced that a key Kansas City Chiefs trio: right guard Trey Smith, tight end Noah Gray, and cornerback Chris Roland-Wallace, will miss Thursday's clash.
While that's the bad news, Isiah Pacheco will return to the lineup, marking the end of a three-game absence. They also signed former Houston Texans 1,000-yard rusher Dameon Pierce, who was released by Houston earlier in the week.
While Pierce has been signed to the practice squad, the Chiefs have been doing their best to get him acclimated to the team. Pierce may be elevated to the gameday roster.

"Brett's (Veach) always doing a nice job finding guys and adding to the roster. And so, we'll just see, kind of play it by ear. See how it goes here.”

"So, Brian's (Schottenheimer) done a nice job there. They had a very productive game against Philadelphia. He's got good coordinators, coaches, and good players."
