Pittsburgh Steelers (-4) at Cleveland Browns

The Steelers notched an impressive and potentially season-defining win over the Ravens on Sunday. They utilized a balanced offense and ferocious defense to move to 8-2 and push Russell Wilson’s record as starter to 4-0.

The Browns were surprisingly overwhelmed by the short-handed Saints offense in a 35-14 loss, despite having had the benefit of the bye week preceding the game. Jameis Winston bounced back by throwing for nearly 400 yards in a vintage performance but now has to deal with an elite defense.

The Steelers have been just as good against the spread as in their won-loss mark – they’re 8-2 overall against the number, including 4-1 on the road.

The game has opened with a projected total of 36.5 points.

Kansas City Chiefs (-11) at Carolina Panthers

The Chiefs finally saw their perfect record sullied via a 30-21 road loss to the Bills. Patrick Mahomes took two sacks and tossed a pair of picks in an uncharacteristically messy performance.

The Panthers were on bye in Week 10 after recording a second straight win by toppling the Giants in Germany. Bryce Young has had another week to continue improving, and Carolina will have a rest advantage in this spot. But the heavy home underdog status against the defending champs isn’t surprising.

The game has opened with a projected total of 41.5 points.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-5.5) at New York Giants

The injury-ravaged Bucs enjoyed a Week 11 bye following a fourth straight loss in Week 10. Tampa Bay has lost three straight by single digits, but Mike Evans’ expected return from his multi-week absence due to a hamstring injury brightens Tampa Bay’s outlook.

The Giants officially benched Daniel Jones on Monday and knocked him all the way down to No. 3 on the depth chart. Tommy DeVito will return to the top job he held with some success for parts of last season, adding an interesting wrinkle to this clash.

The game has opened with a projected total of 42 points.

Detroit Lions (-7.5) at Indianapolis Colts

The Lions are now 9-1 after trampling the Jaguars by a 52-6 score in Week 11. After winning several recent games with the power of the ground attack and the defense, Jared Goff was unleashed Sunday in a 412-yard, four-TD performance. Yet, David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs added three rushing scores – a testament to Detroit’s juggernaut of an offense.

The Colts gave Anthony Richardson another turn with the top job and the decision paid off. Indy was able to record a 28-27 road victory over the Jets and Richardson played a key role by completing an improved 66.7 percent of his passes and leading a game-winning drive.

The game has opened with a projected total of 50.5 points.

Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans (-7.5)

The Titans’ struggles continued with a 23-13 loss to the Vikings at home in Week 11. Will Levis threw for 295 yards, although that number was significantly propped up by a 98-yard touchdown pass to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine on a broken coverage. Tennessee is now 2-8 and has lost five of six.

The Texans face off with the Cowboys on the road to close out Week 11. The interconference clash will feature Nico Collins’ return from a five-game absence due to a hamstring injury and will see Houston trying to bounce back from losing three of its last four by a combined 13 points.

The game has opened with a projected total of 41.5 points.

New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins (-7)

Drake Maye continued to keep the Patriots a feisty bunch in Week 11. New England narrowly fell to the Rams by a 28-22 score in a game where Maye threw for 282 yards and a pair of TDs. However, the Pats defense allowed four touchdown passes to Matthew Stafford.

The Dolphins picked up their second win in six days with a 34-19 victory over the visiting Raiders. Tua Tagovailoa spearheaded the offense with 288 yards and three touchdowns and now gets another appealing matchup versus New England’s inconsistent defense.

The game has opened with a projected total of 46 points.

Dallas Cowboys (+10) at Washington Commanders (-10)

The Cowboys get a tough assignment to close out Week 11 when they host the Texans on Monday night. Cooper Rush draws a second straight start despite throwing for a miserable 45 yards and losing two fumbles against the Eagles in Week 10. Yet, Trey Lance should probably be at the ready, considering Dallas is looking at a lost season and Lance could certainly generate some excitement.

The Commanders dropped a 26-18 decision to the Eagles to start Week 11. However, Washington remains a solid 7-4 and is now back home, where they’re 4-1 against the spread this season. Already benefiting from a rest advantage, the Commanders could be even bigger favorites following Monday if Dallas suffers a blowout loss.

The game has opened with a projected total of 45.5 points.

Minnesota Vikings (-3.5) at Chicago Bears

The Vikings recorded a 23-13 victory over a tough Titans defense on the road in Week 11. Sam Darnold, who’d started to show some signs of turning back into a proverbial pumpkin in recent games, was able to account for three total TDs while committing just one turnover (lost fumble).

The Bears played their first game under interim offensive coordinator Thomas Brown and looked improved in a 20-19 loss to the Packers. Caleb Williams appeared more comfortable and positioned Chicago for a game-winning FG attempt that ultimately ended up blocked.

The game has opened with a projected total of 40.5 points.

Denver Broncos (-5.5) at Las Vegas Raiders

The Broncos’ impressive run continued with a 38-6 throttling of the Falcons in Week 11. Bo Nix’s evolution under Sean Payton hit a new pinnacle with a career-high 307 yards and four touchdowns. Denver’s Vance Joseph-coordinated defense continued to be just as good while sacking Kirk Cousins three times and picking him off once.

The Raiders’ 34-19 loss to the Dolphins did have one major bright spot – Brock Bowers set new career highs with 13 receptions for 126 yards on 16 targets. Gardner Minshew spread the ball around well overall, but Las Vegas continues to seriously lack in both the running game and on defense.

The game has opened with a projected total of 41.5 points.

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks (-1)

The well-rested Cardinals come into this key NFC West clash with four straight wins. The bye week has given them some timely rest ahead of a matchup against a division rival that’s just one game behind them for the top of the NFC West.

The Seahawks got to that second-place perch the hard way – they recorded a comeback win over the 49ers on the road via a game-winning Geno Smith touchdown run. Seattle got D.K. Metcalf back from his knee injury and saw Jaxon Smith-Njigba take another step with an 11-catch, 110-yard effort.

The game has opened with a projected total of 47.5 points.

San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers (-3)

The 49ers are an alarming 5-5 after their 20-17 home loss to the Seahawks. San Francisco continues to cut it close in both its wins and losses – Sunday’s three-point defeat was preceded by six- and three-point victories. George Kittle’s status after he missed Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury will be important to monitor throughout the practice week.

The Packers got to 7-3 by the thinnest of margins. Green Bay blocked Cairo Santos’ would-be game-winning FG as time expired to get out of the Soldier Field with a 20-19 win. Jordan Love appeared much healthier following the Week 10 bye after playing somewhat hobbled by his groin injury in Week 9 against the Lions.

The game has opened with a projected total of 47.5 points.

Philadelphia Eagles (-3) at Los Angeles Rams

The Eagles’ 26-18 win over the Commanders to kick off Week 11 pushed Philadelphia’s record to 8-2. Saquon Barkley continued his elite Philly debut campaign by rushing for 146 yards and a pair of scores. Despite all its success this season, Philadelphia is notably 0-2 against the spread when playing with a rest advantage

The Rams showed some intestinal fortitude by traveling across the country on a short week following a loss and toppling the Patriots 28-22. Matthew Stafford put together a throwback performance that included 295 yards and four touchdowns and always looks like a different QB with both Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp healthy.

The game has opened with a projected total of 50 points.

Baltimore Ravens (-2.5) at Los Angeles Chargers

Lamar Jackson ran into his personal kryptonite in the form of the Steelers defense in Week 11. Jackson completed under 50% of his passes, was picked off once and took a pair of sacks. Baltimore is now 1 1/2 games back of Pittsburgh in the AFC North.

The Chargers recorded a rare high-scoring win over the Bengals on Sunday night. Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow-led offense put on quite a show in the second half before falling by a 30-27 score. The Bolts are now 7-3 and have seen the passing game take several steps forward in recent weeks, an encouraging sign heading into a very favorable matchup versus Baltimore’s questionable secondary.

The game has opened with a projected total of 47.5 points.
