Washington Commanders (+3.5) at Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5)
The Commanders nearly pulled off another win against a quality opponent Sunday. However, the Steelers edged them by a 28-27 score to snap Washington’s three-game winning streak. A potential return by Brian Robinson from his hamstring injury for this key division clash could be critical.
The Eagles unsurprisingly had little trouble with the hapless, short-handed Cowboys. Philadelphia was even able to give its key players some rest in the second half of a 34-6 win. Jalen Hurts still accounted for four TDs, and the Eagles come into this showdown healthy.
The total for the game has opened at 49 points.
Baltimore Ravens (-3) at Pittsburgh Steelers (+3)
The Ravens were able to squeeze by the Bengals by a score of 35-34 to open Week 10. Baltimore’s pass defense continues to be a sieve. However, Lamar Jackson and his weapons on that side of the ball are proving close to unstoppable most weeks.
The Steelers have clawed their way to 7-2, and Russell Wilson seems increasingly comfortable at the helm of the offense. Pittsburgh also saw new arrival Mike Williams score the game-winning TD. Given the Ravens’ issues against the pass, a George Pickens-Williams top receiver duo could wreak some havoc in this matchup.
The total for the game has opened at 47.5 points.
Los Angeles Rams (-4.5) at New England Patriots (+4.5)
The Rams closed out Week 10 with a Monday night visit from the Dolphins. Los Angeles still has postseason hope at 4-5. Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua are both healthy, and their availability transforms the Rams’ offense.
The Patriots were the latest team to upend the hapless Bears. New England recorded a surprising 19-3 victory at Soldier Field despite Drake Maye turning in his most modest numbers yet. The matchup against a Rams defense that’s already suspect and will be on short rest while also traveling cross-country could be a recipe for an upset.
The total for the game has opened at 43.5 points.
Las Vegas Raiders (+7) at Miami Dolphins (-7)
The Raiders were on a much-needed bye in Week 10. Las Vegas entered the layoff with a five-game losing streak that’s seen Antonio Pierce’s squad allow at least 32 points on three occasions.
The Dolphins squared off with the Rams on Monday night to close out Week 10. Tyreek Hill (wrist) played, though he then was limited in Thursday’s practice. Miami is reeling with a 2-6 record and has lost six of its last seven, including Tua Tagovailoa’s first two starts following his return from a concussion.
The total for the game has opened at 45.5 points.
Green Bay Packers (-5.5) at Chicago Bears (+5.5)
The Packers were on a Week 10 bye following a Week 9 loss to the Lions. The time off gave Jordan Love much-needed rest for his groin injury. The talented signal-caller should be much healthier and mobile for this divisional clash.
The Bears are in crisis mode following a 19-3 loss to the Patriots. Chicago has now scored just 27 points in its last three games combined. There’s talk of a change at play-caller, which could be what finally unlocks the potential of first overall pick Caleb Williams and his talented cast (Editor’s note: The Bears fired their offensive coordinator on Tuesday). The Bears’ status as sizable home underdogs speaks to the state of the team.
The total for the game has opened at 41.5 points.
Jacksonville Jaguars (+13.5) at Detroit Lions (-13.5)
The Jaguars put up a valiant fight but couldn’t muster much offense with Mac Jones at the helm for Trevor Lawrence (shoulder). Jones threw for only 111 yards, took two sacks, and tossed three picks. There’s a possibility Lawrence is facing a multi-week absence, which this line seems to be factoring in at least partly.
The Lions once again found a way to escape with a victory Sunday night in Houston. Despite Jared Goff throwing a whopping five interceptions, Detroit notched a 26-23 win. The Lions remain at full strength at key positions now that Jameson Williams has completed his two-game suspension.
The total for the game has opened at 48 points.
Cleveland Browns (+1) at New Orleans Saints (-1)
The Browns were off in Week 10 following a disappointing Week 9 home loss to the Chargers. Jameis Winston took a step back against a tough defense in that game. However, the entire Browns’ offense gets a reprieve versus a Saints squad that can’t stop the run and isn’t as effective overall as it appeared versus the Falcons on Sunday.
New Orleans certainly seemed to benefit from the famed “interim head coach bump” against Atlanta. However, it remains to be seen if the momentum has carryover, especially if Chris Olave misses another game due to his concussion.
The total for the game has opened at 44.5 points.
Minnesota Vikings (-6) at Tennessee Titans (+6)
The Vikings struggled against an inferior opponent in the Jaguars but escaped with a 12-7 victory. Sam Darnold has shown some hints of turning back into a proverbial pumpkin the past two games with five total interceptions. Yet, Minnesota is still 7-2 and healthy at the skill positions.
The Titans’ Will Levis returned to action in Week 10 after a three-game absence due to a shoulder injury. Tennessee still took a 27-17 loss to the Chargers, but Levis looked improved. He threw for 175 yards with a pair of touchdowns to Calvin Ridley. Levis added 41 rushing yards but also took seven sacks.
The total for the game has opened at 39.5 points.
Indianapolis Colts (+3.5) at New York Jets (-3.5)
The Colts struggled with Joe Flacco at the helm again. Indy dropped a 30-20 decision to the Bills that wasn’t as close as the final score implies. Head coach Shane Steichen continues to stand by Flacco for the moment. However, a switch back to Anthony Richardson may not be far with the Colts now 4-6.
The Jets are wallowing in even more misery. Gang Green is now 3-7 after a 31-6 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday. Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams haven’t truly reignited their old Packers connection, and New York’s offensive line continues to struggle as well.
The total for the game has opened at 44.5 points.
Seattle Seahawks (+6.5) at San Francisco 49ers (-6.5)
The Seahawks were off in Week 10 after a crushing OT loss to the Rams in Week 9. Seattle is at a critical point in its season at 4-5 but could be getting D.K. Metcalf back from his knee injury for this NFC West clash.
The 49ers escaped the short-handed Buccaneers with a 23-20 win, and Christian McCaffrey proved capable of handling a big workload after missing the first eight games with Achilles tendinitis. San Fran could be even more efficient on offense after having reincorporated the star in a significant way.
The total for the game has opened at 49.5 points.
Atlanta Falcons (+2) at Denver Broncos (-2)
The Falcons ran into a buzzsaw of a Saints team excited to be playing for interim head coach Darren Rizzi. Atlanta took a narrow 20-17 loss, but stars such as Kirk Cousins, Bijan Robinson, and Drake London still turned in noteworthy performances. Yet, this matchup against an aggressive Broncos defense figures to be much tougher.
The Broncos – and Bo Nix specifically – continued to prove they’re no fluke. Denver gave the defending champion Chiefs all they could handle at Arrowhead before succumbing by a 16-14 score. The defensive matchup here is much softer for the burgeoning Nix-Courtland Sutton connection, not to mention potential new lead back Audric Estime.
The total for the game has opened at 44 points.
Kansas City Chiefs (+2.5) at Buffalo Bills (-2.5)
The Chiefs squeaked by the Broncos in Week 10, 16-14. Patrick Mahomes was the latest quarterback to get a taste of the top-shelf Denver defense. JuJu Smith-Schuster may not yet be ready for a return from his hamstring injury for this game. Yet, DeAndre Hopkins appears to be developing quick chemistry with Mahomes.
The Bills blew past the Colts on the road despite being without Amari Cooper and Keon Coleman due to wrist injuries. Buffalo also lost Dalton Kincaid to a knee injury during the game. It would seemingly be imperative for at least two of those targets to be healthy for this showdown.
The total for the game has opened at 45.5 points.
Cincinnati Bengals (+1.5) at Los Angeles Chargers (-1.5)
The Bengals’ defense faltered again in a 35-34 loss to the Ravens on Thursday night. Joe Burrow continues to produce without Tee Higgins (quadricep) and could have his No. 2 receiver back for this tough matchup. Recent trade acquisition Khalil Herbert may be ready for his team debut as well.
Jim Harbaugh’s Chargers continued to impress with a 27-17 win over the Titans. Los Angeles seems very nimble on offense – the Bolts have proven capable of winning through Justin Herbert’s arm when necessary and via the ground game with a boost from a talented defense as well.
The total for the game has opened at 47 points.
Houston Texans (-7.5) at Dallas Cowboys (+7.5)
The Texans took a tough loss at home to the Lions in Week 9. Yet, Houston was in position to win before Detroit’s late comeback and got there despite once again being without Nico Collins (IR, hamstring). Collins should have a good chance to return for this game.
The Cowboys’ nightmare of a season continued with a 34-6 loss to the Eagles behind Cooper Rush under center. Rush threw for an unfathomable 45 yards and lost two fumbles before giving way to Trey Lance late. With little to lose at 3-6, it’s possible Lance gets a shot at his first start since 2022 in this matchup.
The total for the game has opened at 42 points.
