Week 10 NFL Prime Time Games

Thursday Night Football Odds

The Miami Dolphins have been a major disappointment in 2021. The Dolphins are 1-7 and scoring just 17.2 points per game. Miami had a season win total of 9.5 wins, and that win total has been adjusted to 5.5 at FanDuel Sportbsook. Miami does play the terrible Texans in Week 9 before returning home to kickoff Week 10 against the Baltimore Ravens with a FanDuel Sportsbook projected lookahead line of Ravens -7. Baltimore is 5-2 and leading the AFC North as they play the Vikings in Week 9 following their bye week. The Ravens have a big advantage at the point of attack and in the running game with QB Lamar Jackson the teams leading rusher. Baltimore is top 3 in the league in rushing with 149 yards per game while Miami is bottom 3 rushing for just 78 yards per game. The Ravens run defense is allowing just 86 yards per game to rank top 4 in the league.

Sunday Night Football Odds

Sunday Night Football is another good match-up in Las Vegas as the Raiders host the Chiefs in a key AFC West contest. The Raiders no longer have WR Henry Ruggs on their roster following his release after the tragic and fatal car crash in Las Vegas. The Raiders were the only team to beat the Chiefs during the 2020 regular season prior to Kansas City resting starters in their season finale in Week 17. Kansas City started the season as the biggest division favorite, but enter Week 9 at 4-4 and looking up at the first place Raiders (5-2) and QB Derek Carr, whose player props will be popular along with Patrick Mahomes in this Sunday Night Football special with the projected sports betting odds showing the Chiefs a 3-point favorite.

Monday Night Football Odds

The Monday Night Football matchup is broken down each week at TheLines, and another division duel in the NFC West features the Los Angeles Rams (-3) at the San Francisco 49ers. The Niners have also been a disappointment this season, and especially at home were they are winless and 0-3 having allowed 30, 28 and 30 points in those contests and now facing leading MVP contender QB Matthew Stafford. The Rams offense is averaging 406 yards per game including 302 passing and scoring 30.6 points per game – all top 5 in the NFL.

Week 10 Teams on Bye

  • Chicago Bears
  • Cincinnati Bengals
  • New York Giants
  • Houston Texans

Potential Week 9 Impact on Week 10 Look-Ahead Lines

A stumble by the Pittsburgh Steelers at home against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football could see a drop in their Week 10 odds against the Detroit Lions. Pittsburgh is projected as an 8.5-point favorite, but the winless Lions will be traveling following their bye week. Still, Detroit has been dealing with immense injuries to an already-thin defensive secondary, including losing Jeff Okudah for the season early on.

Both the LA Chargers and Minnesota Vikings play on the East coast in Week 9 before playing head-to-head in Los Angles in Week 10. The Vikings will be a road underdog for the second straight week, and the line is more likely to move from Chargers -2.5 to the key number of -3 with the Vikings offensive line struggling against Dallas and likely against Baltimore in Week 9. A potential shootout and more flying footballs may take over at SoFi Stadium, so consider betting the total and over/under early knowing the last two Chargers home games went over the total including the 47-42 win over the Browns.
