Each week, the NFL weather reports loom large. Ignoring them could be detrimental to your NFL betting resume, as they can help you find a winning bet or avoid losing one. Even in September, rainy conditions may greatly impact outdoor games. As of Tuesday morning, this applies to Ram at Bears, among others.

These forecasts are always subject to change. Monitor potentially impactful situations as the week progresses to see how forecasts evolve. Check back throughout the week for updated forecasts and odds for NFL Week 4 at sites with the best NFL betting promos.

Rams at Bears

If the Bears’ offense amassing the league’s fifth-fewest EPA per play wasn’t enough, potential rain in the forecast has helped this total to tip a full point as of this publication. For reference, it opened near 41.5. The projected wind gusts of roughly 11.5 mph are also the strongest on the slate.

Conversely, Chicago’s defense has executed at a high level. Although Matthew Stafford and Co. overcame a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit in their upset victory against San Francisco, their receiving core is still depleted. I’m not as bullish on the Rams’ offense in potentially poor conditions this week.

I’d be curious to see how these offenses operate in the elements, ranking in the top 10 in pace.

Eagles at Buccaneers

Like the odds for Bears vs. Rams, the total has shrunk nearly two points as of this publication. Raymond James Stadium has avoided rain in the Buccaneers’ first two home games, but that could change on Sunday. To boot, their offense has regressed after showing out against the Commanders in their season opener.

If Tampa Bay’s defensive front remains banged up, especially nose tackle Vita Vea (sprained MCL), Saquon Barkley and the Eagles’ rushing offense could feast. A positive game script from Philly would benefit the under, particularly if the rain follows suit.
