NFL Weather

Each week, the NFL weather reports loom large. Ignoring them could be detrimental to your NFL betting bottom line, as they can help you find a winning bet or avoid a loser. Late in the season, cold, wind, and rain/snow can affect games significantly.

In Week 16, Seattle looks set for definite rainstorms. A couple of other games might be affected by snow and cold. These forecasts are subject to change. Make sure to monitor potential situations throughout the week. Check back to see how the weather may impact the odds for NFL Week 16 at sites with the best sportsbook promos.

Vikings At Seahawks

A rainy Week 15 forecast cleared up by game time on Sunday, so we’ll see if something similar happens here. As of Tuesday, the forecast here calls for “steady rain in the evening,” though. There are also 15 mph winds, so this situation could be very unfriendly for passing games.

Seattle can’t run the ball at all, and QB Geno Smith’s status remains uncertain after he suffered a knee injury.

The total, which was as high as 45.5 last week on DraftKings Sportsbook, is now down to 42.5, though it’s probably Smith-related.

Rams at Jets

The skies are clear in East Rutherford, but the temperatures are unpleasant. MetLife will play host to temperatures around 25 degrees with winds at 11 mph. That’s a bit below where offenses become seriously affected, but the conditions still won’t be ideal.

Matthew Stafford and the Rams’ passing game hasn’t been as effective outdoors this year.

Patriots At Bills

This game has no wind, and the skies will be clear. The players will simply be dealing with cold temperatures around 15 degrees. There hasn’t been much movement on this total, so the market isn’t expecting much effect.

Saints At Packers

Green Bay could have clear skies and cold temperatures around 27 degrees. However, the forecast does have a 24% chance of snow, which increases over the following days. If that system moves up, perhaps this game will be affected. The winds are forecast around 8 mph, so it shouldn’t be too bad overall.
