NFL Week 15 Weather Report: Rainy Sunday Includes Seahawks Vs. Packers
Each week, the NFL weather reports loom large. Ignoring them could be detrimental to your NFL betting bottom line, as they can help you find a winning bet or avoid a loser. Late in the season, cold, wind, and rain/snow can affect games significantly.
In Week 15, rain will affect several games in various regions. These forecasts are subject to change. Make sure to monitor potential situations throughout the week. Check back to see how the weather may impact the odds for NFL Week 15 at sites with the best sportsbook promos.
Chiefs At Browns
There’s a 60% chance of rain along with relatively strong winds, projected around 17 mph. That means the passing game is likely to take hits on both sides. The Chiefs have had trouble connecting on anything deep all year, so they’ll need to dial up their shorter stuff, while Jameis Winston will have to keep his eagerness to go for big plays at least somewhat in check.
The total has seen some movement here. After dipping to 42.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook, the number has climbed back to 45.
Ravens At Giants
According to the market, the forecast expects the Ravens and Giants to play in some rain during what will probably be the squash of the year. The daytime forecast calls for a 40% chance of rain, though the winds will be milder around 8 mph.
That favors a Ravens team looking to air it out more often than the pitiful Giants attack.
The total has dropped more than an entire point from 44.5 to 43.
Cowboys At Panthers
Charlotte has a high chance of rain (70%) on Sunday, so this game will be played in the elements unless something changes. Again, though, the wind should be mild, around 8 mph, so the QBs might still be able to make some plays. If Xavier Legette has trouble catching it in pristine conditions, his effectiveness might take a further hit.
Again, the total has dropped from 44 to 43, possibly due to the forecast.
Jets At Jaguars
Though there’s a slight chance of rain (24%), the wind is the main thing to watch here. The current forecast calls for 11 mph winds, which shouldn’t affect things too much, but the prior two days are each around 15 mph.
This game might just be clean, but it’s worth watching.
Steelers At eagles
Despite being played on the East Coast, this game fits into the afternoon window. The early forecast calls for a 50% chance of rain, which increases to 60% in the evening. The winds should be mild again, but if George Pickens sits, the rainy weather and lack of deep targets could cause problems for this Steelers offense.
The total has plunged from 45.5 to 42.5 due to that combination of factors.
Packers At Seahawks
Like these other games, Seattle should see some rain, with the chance pegged at 50% in the evening. Mild winds around 7 mph mean the offenses should still have a chance to cook, as long as players can hang onto the slippery ball.
