Each week, NFL weather reports loom large. Ignoring them could be detrimental to your NFL betting bottom line, as they can help you find a winning bet or avoid a loser. Especially late in the season, cold, wind, and rain/snow can affect games significantly. In Week 12, Steelers vs. Browns looks like it will be played in some of the worst conditions of the season to date.

These forecasts are subject to change. Monitor potential situations throughout the week to see how they’re evolving. Check back in the coming days for how the weather may affect the odds for NFL Week 12 games at sites with the top NFL betting promos.

Steelers At Browns

Cleveland is known for having some of the roughest weather in the business, and this game looks like the first bad one of the season. There’s a 90% chance of precipitation, with rain and snow both expected at various points in the day.

However, the real bear will come via 21 mph winds. That figures to throw a serious wrench into both teams’ passing games, especially as Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston love working downfield.

Unsurprisingly, the total has plummeted in response to the forecast. An opener of 41 got blasted down to 36 at DraftKings Sportsbook before the tiniest of buybacks on the over.

Buccaneers At Giants

The forecast for this game includes 15 mph winds, which is right around when the conditions can start seriously affecting offenses.

The Giants are making the switch to Tommy DeVito at QB. He was a poor passer last year (23.7 QBR) but did damage on the ground at times (195 rushing yards in nine games). He might get a slight bump from the bad weather relative to the more pass-heavy Bucs.

This total has also dropped, dipping as low as 41.5 before settling at 42.

49ers At Packers

There’s only a slight chance of rain, around 20%, so this one looks most likely to be clear. However, the system is worth keeping an eye on. Monday’s forecast calls for a 40% chance of rain, so if that moves up, then the Packers and 49ers could be playing in bad weather.

Cardinals At Seahawks

Seattle is forecast to have a 25% chance of rain on Sunday afternoon. However, much like Green Bay, the schedule cuts it close with heavier rainfall, this time on the front end. Friday and Saturday both have a high chance of rain (greater than 50%). Expect a wet contest that might favor the Cardinals’ strong ground game if that gets pushed back.
