NFL Weather Report: London Forecast & Watching Some Week 4 Wind

Each week, the NFL weather reports loom as potential game-changers. Ignore it at your detriment, as it can help you find a winning bet or avoid a losing one. While it’s typically more of a story later in the season once cold and snow start to hit, even early in the year, wind and heat can affect things. NFL Week 4 odds do not feature a whole lot of impactful weather, according to the early forecasts. But, we will hit the few games that could see some mild impact.
Week 3 was forecast to see some stormy weather in the Northeast. But, for the most part, offenses were not affected, as most of the poor play could be attributed much more to the execution of the teams rather than the conditions. We’ll see if that changes in Week 4.
Keep in mind these forecasts are always subject to change. Monitor potentially impactful situations as the week goes on to see how forecasts evolve.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Atlanta Falcons
London games have brought some windy and rainy weather at times, and this game could fit that mold in the former sense. Some winds are expected, though they shouldn’t be too impactful. If they are, they certainly figure to affect Jacksonville much more, since the Jaguars rely far more on deep passes. Atlanta’s offense has been almost nothing but runs and shorter to intermediate routes.
Already, the total has crept down from 45 to 43.5 at DraftKings Sportsbook, though that seems unlikely to be the forecast for Wembley Stadium.
NFL Weather: 74 F, 12% chance of precipitation, winds 10 to 15 mph
Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns games are no stranger to wind either. Like the aforementioned game, despite a middling wind forecast, this game has been hit with under action. Sharps pounded the number from the 43.5 reopen to 41 before some buy back ticked it to 41.5. Neither team has what you would call a high-flying passing attack, so neither figures to benefit more from the weather than the other.

Cincinnati Bengals At Tennessee Titans
Wind and rain won’t factor in here, but Nashville is expected to see the hottest temperatures of any outdoor venue this weekend. We did see the Broncos wilt in the heat in Miami last weekend. If any team can build up a plays/time of possession advantage, that could pay dividends in this game.
NFL Weather: 86 F, 7% chance of precipitation, winds 5 to 10 mph
Washington Commanders At Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia could see some medium-strength winds this weekend as well. It wouldn’t be anything these two East Coast teams aren’t used to, but it could slow down an Eagles deep passing game that has been among the league’s very best since the team paired AJ Brown with Devonta Smith.
NFL Weather: 74 F, 12% chance of precipitation, winds 10 to 15 mph
Minnesota Vikings At Carolina Panthers
Another game featuring mild to medium winds. The Vikings play indoors and rely almost exclusively on the pass, with Alexander Mattison heading an extremely disappointing rushing attack. The Panthers, meanwhile, have barely had any passing game to speak of until Andy Dalton took over the reins. Would a windy game outdoors slightly even things for Carolina?
Unlike many of these other games, the total has ticked up from 45 to 46. That may have as much to do with the Panthers’ QB situation as anything else, though.
NFL Weather: 77 F, 16% chance of precipitation, winds 10 to 15 mph
Arizona Cardinals At San Francisco 49ers
Arizona managed to pull an incredible upset against the Cowboys, mainly behind a surprisingly potent rushing attack. Doing the same here looks like a tall order against this defense, and they’ll have a tough time hitting deep balls like the one to Michael Wilson if the winds kick up. It’s unfortunate for them because the 49ers have been beaten deep at times in recent years, and Kyle Shanahan’s sophisticated screen game doesn’t figure to be affected much.
NFL Weather: 54 F, 4% chance of precipitation, winds 10 to 15 mph
