Each week, the NFL weather reports loom as potential game-changers. Ignore it at your detriment, as it can help you find a winning bet or avoid a losing one. While it's typically more of a story later in the season once cold and snow start to hit, even early in the year, wind and heat can affect things. Week 2 has some more rain and potentially medium-strength winds. In particular, the forecast for Bengals vs. Ravens stands out after Joe Burrow had a rough go of it in Cleveland.

Week 1 wound up seeing some fairly significant rainy conditions that affected a few games. Browns vs. Bengals was perhaps the most significant. Bettors dialed into the forecasts could have profited as unders dominated to the tune of 10-4 on Sunday.

Keep in mind these forecasts are always subject to change. Monitor potentially impactful situations as the week goes on to see how forecasts evolve.

Baltimore Ravens At Cincinnati Bengals

Whatever the opposite of video game numbers are, that's what Joe Burrow produced in the rain on Sunday in Cleveland. Now, he was coming in presumably than 100% with an injured calf and facing a ferocious Browns pass rush that has really had his number.

Still, one had to wonder if the rainy conditions played a role in his exceptionally awful performance.

If so, he gets no reprieve. Cincinnati may see another rain-soaked game here. On the surface one might expect the Ravens to thrive in such conditions, but their rushing attack has waned in effectiveness over the years. And they might be missing a couple of key starting offensive linemen.

NFL Weather: 77 F, 40% chance of precipitation, winds 5 to 10 mph

Chicago Bears AT Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Neither of these offenses covered themselves in glory in Week 1, and they look like they'll play Week 2 in some typical Florida rain. This one has an even stronger chance of rain than the Bengals/Ravens tilt, with the forecast calling for a 60% chance of showers.

Whether due to the quality of these offenses or an early look at the forecast, the influential bettors hammered the under overnight, with the number moving from 43.5 all the way to 42 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

NFL Weather: 90 F, 60% chance of precipitation, 5 to 10 mph winds

Washington Commanders at Denver Broncos

Admittedly, this might be stretching things a tad, but a hot day in Denver could prove especially problematic to teams already facing unfamiliar conditions at high altitude. Sure, 80 degrees isn't exactly an inferno, but it may only exacerbate whatever altitude-related woes the Commanders' bodies experience.

Like the above game, early action has repeatedly hit the under, moving the number from a 41.5 opener to 39 at DK Sportsbook.

NFL Weather: 80 F, 3% chance of precipitation, winds 5 to 10 mph

Miami Dolphins at new england patriots

Precipitation shouldn't present an issue to the offenses in this game, but medium-strength winds might. And not exactly in an equitable manner.

The Patriots utilized more of a short- to medium-depth passing game in Week 1, and given Mac Jones' moderate arm strength, that makes sense. However, Miami has done a huge chunk of its damage under Mike McDaniel on deep passes. If winds kick up to around 15 mph, a QB in Tua Tagovailoa who has had issues underthrowing deep balls at times may find himself misfiring even more often.

It's something to keep in mind here, although the market has been quick to bet this up following the fireworks show the Fins put on in Week 1. The number has moved from a 45.5 reopen to 47.

NFL Weather: 78 F, 24% chance of precipitation, winds 10 to 15 mph

Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers

Currently, things look relatively clean in Pittsburgh for Monday Night Football. However, that could change if showers forecast earlier in the day wind up pushed back just a bit. Scattered thunderstorms are in the daytime forecast, so keep an eye on this one and make sure things clear up before anticipating any kind of offensive explosion.

Like some others, this has received early sharp action to the under, moving the line from 42.5 on reopen to 40.5.

NFL Weather: 56 F, 24% chance of precipitation, winds 5 to 10 mph
