Panthers RB Miles Sanders
Finishing third among Carolina RBs in touches in Week 8, Sanders usage disappointed again in Week 9. It is safe to assume that the free agent pickup will only be lightly used from here on out. Chuba Hubbard dominated in all facets with 16 of 23 team RB carries and 29 routes on 48 Bryce Young dropbacks (60.4% route participation). While Sanders had five targets in his own right, he only ran 11 routes on the day. Sanders played just 18 snaps. Aside from the decreased role, Sanders hasn’t been effective at all this season, gaining a weak 3.3 yards per carry on the ground. Chicago is now allowing a league-low 3.23 YPC to running backs, further hindering Sanders’s chances at rushing success in this matchup.
